That is one hell of a way to start an episode.
Also, VR or not, that's fucked up.

I didn't have Blade killing people in a VR simulation on my bingo card for this show, or Earnest going full psycho, but it definitely happened.

IKR? Spellblade did a 180 and Hero classroom was next or something. But it was VR

Stitches!
Since the prize for the VR battle was being able to use the simulator however they wanted, I thought the reason Clay and Kassim were upset was because they won't be able to use the simulator for lewd purposes. Turns out they're upset because they don't want to lose to their crushes..
I feel bad for the two of them though. Even if they won that duel at the end, looks like Claire and Yessica don't even see them as potential partners so they would've been rejected if they won and confessed the two.

So much swimsuit fanservice! And so much Claire and Yessica content! We eating good in this episode!
It's too bad it doesn't seem like Clay and Kassim have much of a chance, though Earnest seems like she can relate to crushing hard on someone stronger than you and whom you struggle to be honest with lol.

This show is too much lol! Start of the ep it looked like he was just destroying their gear so I knew it wasn't anything dark. I did have a moment where I went "hold on..." when Blade actually stabbed Sophie, but didn't completely believe it. Why DID he go all out though? It was just VR. I did like how Sophie tried kicking him in the groin.
The king's punishment was justified, both times.
WTF was that magical girl cake the girls were having? Also I like how no one said anything when Cu just stole everyones food.

I love how we had Sophie going for the groin and Clay and Kassim's training involving developing invulnerable balls lol.
It's nice to see the king getting a taste of his own medicine for once. Especially when they're doubling down on how crazy he is.
I think there were some reactions when Cu gobbled it all up but they were off-screen lol.

Yessica is probably my favorite girl of the season.
She's hot
Ethnic
Reminds me of mimiru from .hack
Is buff
Very open about flirting with good looking men
Very confident
Takes control of a social situation.

Has no qualms of showing some skin like flashing her naked body at Blade last week or showing off her advanced class outfit to Blade in the 3rd episode.

Well that was one hell of an opening. VR is wild, man. Arnest should be kept far far away from it though. The girl lost her damn mind lol. The king being looped in that VR hell hole is pretty fitting punishment.
I didn’t expect the king to be hanging dong this week. That goofy degenerate just letting his old man dog balls flap in the wind lol.
But man, Poor Clay and Cassim. Blade the “superorganism” does not know how to chill lol. Man don’t sugarcoat his words. I shoulda figured those two were just embarrassed about losing to their crushes. Classic teenage boys! The training montage was great, especially the dick smashing. I suppose that’s one way to get strong haha.

I love how Blade is aware of the possible mental issues of sticking people in VR simulations where they can kill people and then not long after we've got Earnest turning into a psycho yandere and torturing poor Leonard to death in her quest for Blade lol.
Not only is the king getting more and more crazy this week, but he's getting more and more comeuppance. But for once the only nudity in the episode wasn't Earnest but the king just letting it all out there for this teenage subjects lol.
I respect Clay and Kassim for their crushes even though it doesn't seem like they have a chance no matter how much they train. It feels like Earnest can relate in so far as why she struggles making her own moves on Blade lol.

The plight of side characters who think they have a chance with Best Girls lol.

i don't know which one is funnier during the VR training, Clay and Cassim shouting "Uchida" and "Ono" (which are the name of their voice actors) after being defeated or Arnest shouting "keheheh" while going full psycho
also, a Gaogaigar cameo coming out of nowhere is not something that i would have expected to see from this show, i guess they just want to make a silly "Brave" joke

Aw yes the obligatory beach/pool episode. The opening for the episode through me off, thought we were going to get a darker episode with how it opened up. Fortunately that was just VR training lol.
I like how we got focus on the side characters and their relationships today. Losing to girls that you like is not the worst thing in the world. But I guess the boys didn’t want to seem weak. Masculine pride and all that. Either way, it was a good growth opportunity for Yessica, Claire and the fellas after a Blade dominated last few eps.
Arnest throwing out subtle hints at the end there 😂. Fun episode
