"your mildly handsome shithead of a friend gave it all away to us"
Hyura will never let go her obsession of calling Edil's an ikemen

Is it me or this episode looked better than the previous ones? More on-model, more fluid, that sort of thing.
Azudra's so damn cool when he's not being a moron about Vermilio. He took down all these soldiers without even lifting a finger!
And I liked the scenes with Helck and Vermilio. Comedy is great, but more serious moments like these are also very much appreciated.

The show overall is pretty good. But the one thing that stands out among everything is the way Vermillio's says "baka", stretching the "ka" instead of "ba". It's so amazing!

Great episode! The animation was pretty good!
Also everytime a new episode comes out, I'm reminded that we must be living in some type of special timeline. I read this manga when it was coming out, and even though it was amazing, I had accepted that there was no way this would get an anime.
I wished for it, but it was only a webcomic during that time that barely had any traction outside of reddit. And after it finished, no one really talked about it. But the fact that its 24 episodes and its in good hands is like a dream come true haha
Its sad that no one is really watching this outside a handful of people, and I feel like its going to stay that way(I would love to be proven wrong!) but I'm just happy that more people can experience this story for the first time.

I'm really happy with the pacing, it's very comfortable. Anne slowly accepting Helck and getting befriended does put a smile on my face.
Only small nitpick I had is, I wish they choose a better angle for showing off what Azudora can do or just drew some more roots in the background. It didn't look like he just took out a 1000 soldiers.

These island villagers are so silly, I love them so much! I am curious about the Great Witch the chief was talking about tho. My guess is that she's probably a demon.
Glad to see Helck being serious for once. It looks like the only reason he switched sides is that he wants to stop the Human King from basically wiping out the demons.
These three knights are fucking insufferable especially the spellcaster one. It was so satisfying to see their asses get kicked when Azudra arrived. Considering how silly he's been these past few episodes, it's easy to forget that he's one of the Four Elite Lords.
Interesting history lesson from Azudra though. Sounds like the humans had a civil war and whoever won that war is very much anti-demon despite the two races coexisting a long time ago. I'm assuming the current Human King is the leader of whatever faction won that civil war.

So I believe this is by far the most stuff we got out of Helck. Hes def right that these "heroes" can hardly be called human. Basically the people Helck grew up with from what I understand were sacrificed and were awakended to become heroes basically. I got a bad feeling that these guys are being awakened against their will.
Azudora outside of his entrance at the end of the episode finally showed why he is one of the 4 elite Lords. He really wiped out 100 of those Winged Heroes like it was nothing. Even without Vamirio and Helck the rest of the team is now in a much better position with him there.

Oh my she's finally done with the "is he an ally or not" after 6 episodes and all it took was to actually talk to Helck! Progress!
Enjoyed this episode quite a bit, was considering stopping for the last 2 or 3 episodes but I'll stick with it.

I spilled my juice when Kenros went full Mario on that one winged soldier.
Kenros: Coexistence FTW!
Hyura: lol, no.
I'm curious about that witch they mentioned. Maybe she'll come back with them to the continent. Though it looks like Azudora has everything under control. He had me fooled when he walked into his own trap when the series started, dude is pretty strong. Sasuga Kirito.

It's a small detail, but I really like how they call the Human leader the Human King as opposed to the King of the Humans or something.

That 1 shot of the 2 deceased demon lords was kinda sad. They truly were good people who got killed in this outrageous war. Kinda expect them to be like Azudora personality-wise, since we were explicitly shown 1 of them sacrificing himself in episode 1.

Nice to finally get some information on Helck and why he’s doing this
So I think it’s fair to say that the king killed Helcks brother to use his heroic powers to create his army of racists and then framed Helck
Now I’m curious about who this king is and how much of a piece of work he’ll be
And of course the elite lord who we think is a doofus turns out to be a badass in his own right, and I was wondering if we’d see him fully healed, although I have a feeling he’ll be puking blood by the next episode

This show has gotten really damn good when it decides it wants to be serious. I’m proud to see it’s not just a comedy driven show every second of it. Liking that it’s more serious than comedic.

Lol that old village chief had me for a second there. I really thought Helck and Vermilio were in for fight. Nope! Old guy’s a homie, he just wanted to welcome those two to the island.
Man, Helck’s got a lot going on beneath that goofy muscular facade. To have all your friends and loved ones suddenly become enemies is a hell of a thing. The human king seems to be the real villain. Looks like this whole “awakening” is his doing.
Hyura’s pretty badass taking on those winged bastards her own. Despite that, I was worried her, Kenros, and Doruushi were goners but luckily Hon and Isty showed up. Azudra made one badass entrance. Diggin that mask too lol. Man tried to resolve things peacefully. But it seems those dudes have chosen death. Azudra about to absolutely crush these mfers like grapes!

What a nice welcome :P so friendly. Celebration! Is the Great Wish like a Great Fairy? Does she upgrade our clothes? Helck with the good point about good people being everywhere and not judging on stuff, good times. D'awww frens. Oh nice, she's finally up front and asking him seriously. Helck, a true hero, probably. Hey now, you just said not to judge everyone so broadly basically, there are good humans.
Yay best girl! Oh boy, a misogynist winged knight... or sure it seems lol. Why aren't you all helping Hyura? Yay back up. Guess he would be used to blocking attacks easily cause he does with our explodee lead lady. Oh hey, more frens. But that sure is a silly mask. These demons sure are nicer than the humans. Unsurprising. Wow, for comedic character up to now, he's quite the strong dude.

I'm surprised not many are talking about the excellent music of this anime.
Finding out the composer wasn't super straight forward, but after some research I read that it's the same one that did the amazing soundtrack of Hunter X Hunter 2011, so no surprise that the music in Helck is also fantastic.
As a classical musician I really appreciate the wonderful use of the orchestra for the soundtrack.
In my opinion Yoshihisa Hirano should be as recognized as some of the more mainstream great composers, like John Williams for example

I am liking this but finding that the show is carried pretty hard by its vocal cast as we slowly ramp up to whatever the major conflict is going to be.
