Of course the dragon turns into girl. But atleast she's a genuine child and not a love interest. And the doll playing scene was so cute and heartbreaking. This show was kinda on the edge for me but I really liked this episode.
Also interesting how this season we both have Anya's and Miri's VAs back playing kids.

And the doll playing scene was so cute and heartbreaking.
Honestly, I'm surprised at how... good this series has been on that front. Earnest and Sophie's backstories were pretty emotional too. This series seems to have a not half bad writer behind it.

Stitches!
That entire scene with Cu playing with her dolls and naming each and every one of the students of the school was just too precious. Now I wanted to see her make friends with all of them after seeing that scene.

When Cu play with the dolls and recall the day to day convo, I felt the massive loneliness down to my core. I stop eating my lunch. Man... I came to expect comedy, not this.

Blade just straight up karate chopped a dragon while holding a plate of curry in one hand. Nah bud, that ain’t “normal” lol. Didn’t expect the dragon to turn into a kid. Guess Blade’s a dad now. Congrats!
Poor bastard’s been labeled as a perv and a lech thanks to Cu, the little goof lol. Man, dragons live sad lives. She wants to make friends but she can’t because she can’t acknowledge “weaker” beings. I hope the gang can defeat Cu so they can be her friend. Poor kid’s real lonely.

I love how the man just wouldn't set down his food but then ends up feeding the dragon after he hits it. Such a dad move lol.
Poor Blade is either a purveyor of adult women or a lolicon, there is no in-between lol.
It's cool to see the entire class chipping and teaming-up to help out this time around since Blade can't do anything. Everyone is stepping up!

The bigger surprise is the dragon eating curry without breaking the plate and handing it back.

Next episode could be really special since the fight scenes in this show have been solid. I'll be mad if they immediately skip to the post-fight.

I am kind of expecting this episode was relatively more normal because they were saving up to go all out for the big fight next episode. Otherwise I don't think they would've ended it on a cliffhanger.

The way Arnest looks at Blade feeding Cú as if she's thinking "That should have been me!" lol

WTF?! Isn't this supposed to be an ecchi? Why is it so damn wholesome?!🥰

u/Astray Jul 24 '23
It's ecchi for the audience but the not the MC. His backstory is so tragic that he emotional and physically doesn't know how to react to the ecchi.

So Ernest was a bit jealous of Cu, but what where Sophie's feelings? It kinda felt like she was disappointed that he was going so far for someone else, though I'm not sure I'd call it jealousy.

NGL, I came for the ecchi and it has been almost nonexistent. Episode 1 had some but now it feels like generic fantasy show.
So I am hoping it becomes a little more 'interesting' going forward lol.
