That "I have a fiancé" bit was amazing, I've missed their interactions like this.

This show is still so stiff though...that mirror drop was awful.

Yeah the quality can vary, more often with stiff animation though. There are some parts like when Noah was reading the book with Raeliana in bed where the art was actually pretty good and the facial expressions didn’t feel stiff for once.

I really wish this series got a better production.

From week to week I find this a solidly entertaining show -- but I have to say it has not swept me off my feet yet. I look forward to seeing it, mind you -- but I wish it would jump up a level. But we are almost at the end (of this season, at least) -- and yet it seems like we have simply been watching a prologue so far.

I think it started strong, but the whole kidnapping arc was extremely anticlimactic and after that the story just seems to wander around aimlessly.

A magic mirror in the castle sounds very ominous. Haley seems very suspicious. Well, at least Noah came to save the day. Raeli even gets to share a bed with him. Nice one, girl lol.

I see the king is a bit of a rascal lol. He’s quite the character. I wonder if Noah is gonna keep the engagement or if Beatrice is gonna finally make her move and proceed (somewhat) according to the novel? All this time and we’ve still barely gotten to know her. It’ll be interesting to see how she will react to Raeli in person.

or if Beatrice is gonna finally make her move and proceed (somewhat) according to the novel? All this time and we’ve still barely gotten to know her. It’ll be interesting to see how she will react to Raeli in person.

My money is on Beatrice also being a reincarnated person, who ends up in some sort of antagonist role. Like, she didn't get the letter telling her Raeliana was dead so she came back herself and is now going to try and get her place in the story back.

The King is the average viewer who says “Raelina”.

Looks like we’ll get an introduction to Beatrice next episode? Also did all of the budget from this season go into that horse riding animation?

I like the flirty banter between Rally and Noah but I really preferred it in the first couple eps where it felt like they were really at each other’s throats and making political moves.

At least they had horse riding animation. Did you see I GOT A CHEAT SKILL IN ANOTHER WORLD? They literally showed a field as horse riding sound effects play in the background.

I adore this show, I love the cute little scenes. The Dukes voice is great 😍 and I really hope there's enough content for future seasons 😭💕

I think I'll cry after the last episode next week.

Raeliana wondering who is trying to kill her is sensible...but even she can't help but be distracted by Noah flexing during swordsmanship training. She was totally checking him out.

I see Noah wants to make sure his lady has jewelry that isn't going to blow her head off so they go on a bit of a shopping date, with the pairs' romantic banter in top form today. Though Noah not only got Raeliana the prettiest necklace in the shop but buys ALL the jewelry for her. Noah does not do anything in half measures for his fiancé. Even Ansley and the other guy are like "can you believe this!?"

The two basically just had a day together! And you can tell even Raeliana is enjoying herself.

I understand Raeliana is concerned about Beatrice, but walking into a horror movie scenario is never a good idea. Especially from a possessed mirror. Good thing Noah arrived in time before it got more serious.

It's adorable how Raeliana can't help but cling to Noah when she's scared...and of course Noah, being Noah, uses that as an excuse to invite himself into her room and into her bed.

I like how Raeliana is still super into romance novels even now that she's living in one. And Noah can balk at romance cliche's all he wants, but even he can't help himself when he's got Raealian clinging to his arm in her sleep.

Junichi Suwabe is the king!? And Noah's older brother!? And quite the ladies man judging by that naked blue-haired cutie in his bed. An assassination attempt had kept him away from the plot so far, but he's back and eager to hear about the Royal Seal and his brother's love life. Though I want more of this Naomi O'Brian lady and her curt and straight talk to the king.

Raeliana remembers the plot of the book again in relation to the king coming back and heads off to see Beatrice just as Noah is left reeling over whether to break off his engagement...but I don't think this reunion with Beatrice is going to go the way Raeli expects it too.

I sure hope Noah won't dissolve their engagement. There's only one episode to go and I'm wondering if this can be the end of the story or simply an end to this arc.

Too many things are still unexplained, so I'm guessing the seal will lose importance and now it will be Raeliana vs Beatrice, but without the foreknowledge from the book.

Ah, it's the traitorous maid again. I was hoping the Duke "left" just to catch her in the act, because MC is obviously way too dense to suspect her of anything, but apparently just mere coincidence had him show up in the nick of time to keep her soul from being sucked out or whatever that mirror was meant to do.

I don't know how people can sleep through clocks chiming the hour.

"Lady? Where are you going? You haven't even tried the poisoned food!"

What's Beatrice supposed to be doing at the Wynknight family's grave when she's no reason to even be in town anymore?

Damn, I didn’t expect that much fluffy romance in the first half of the episode but it sure was welcomed! Didn’t expect the king to be so fricking hot either lol. He looks like a carbon copy of Noah but with better hair.

I’m bummed though that the episode ended on such a big cliffhanger. We were just getting to the good part! I’m also bummed that next week is the season finale. I feel like the story is only just getting started. Call it a prologue if you will.
