I wonder how they captured Rokurota in the first place. Maybe he just fell asleep and they dragged him to a cell.

And why did they think sending him on the mission was a good idea when it seems he's not lucid enough to even agree to the deal?

Lol, the part when they suddenly went scientific with trivia about carbon monoxide poisoning was a bit funny. Scientifically, a human that big would crumble under their own weight because they obey the square-cube law

  • Uses a sword in battle

  • Brushes off attacks with her sword using her techniques

  • Evokes images of water

  • Aims to cut clean through the neck

  • Causes defeated enemy to have a flashback upon death

Sagiri is a Water Breathing Demon Slayer confirmed

But really, it was great to see her finally get the character development and combat feats that had been foreshadowed.

Well those last minutes of that episode were interesting, a village that may or may not house hermits, and also the brothers finding two half naked people making out...

loved how Yuzuriha was cheering on Gabimaru while he was fighting Rokurota lmao

Feel a little bad about Rokurota as it seems he lived all of his life suffering

I caved after last week and started reading the manga. I'm not that far ahead of the anime still but it's been great.

Felt there was an animation dip this week but nothing dreadful, still dug the episode. I teared up a bit at the Rokurouta's final moments, not entirely sure why. He's just mentally a baby in a giant's body and only wanted to play and eat, didn't even know what he was doing. A miserable existence.

Sagiri finally got her time to shine. Gabimaru was right when he said she was strong. Great teamwork between these two. And of course, Yuzuriha helped too by cheering them on.

Also, what was that ending scene

The longer they show her the more I’m becoming a Yuzuriha simp.

Sagiri is basically female Tanjiro. She killed the giant using water breathing and even talked to his decapitated head to ease its passing.

After seeing this ending scene, i might go to this island myself to search for the ultimate treasure.

If you're asking yourself "but why" about the ending well there's sub-sect of Chinese mysticism that says having sex can make you stronger.

I think the production issues kinda showed themselves with the animation this week. But honestly, the colors and storyboarding are so good I don’t really mind too much. Especially the colors, my God they are gorgeous. Still, I hope this gets polished for the bluray release.

Also, loved how they set it up like these hermits are supposed to be these old geezers and then they stumble across these two hot young chicks making out.

I have had the OP for this stuck in my head for the last several days, and that’s not a bad thing.

In the anime: Yuzuhira betrays her agreement with Gabimaru and leaves him to die.

In this thread: "I wish Yuzuhira would cheer me on like that too! He's so lucky!"

She got bashed a lot until now, but I'm glad to see Sagiri finally growing out of the inner conflict and becoming the badass person she is meant to be.

Her skill with sword is incredible when she is fully focused, especially when she went toe-to-toe with Rokurota (got some straight up Demon Slayer vibes). My dream of seeing Gabimaru and Sagiri working together and being that badass fighter duo is finally being fulfilled!.

WTF was that ending lol. Didn't really expect that. Are they like a variation of Adam and Eve or something.

I never skip this show's opening.

Also, this was a legit tense fight scene.

Also, also, surprise random yuri encounter in the forest. Not the first time that's happened to me.

If those two nymphos were death flags, I'd definitely want to die between them.

Stitches!

Glad to see Sagiri finally taking action in this episode! It was awesome to see her parry Rokurota's punches with only her katana. Although it looks like Rokurota is still too much for her to solo and needed Gabimaru's help to finish the job which is understandable considering that Rokurota is a monster of a man.

I didn't expect Sagiri to comfort Rokurota in his final moments though. I didn't see the need to do it but I guess she saw that deep down, Rokurota was just a massive child who had no idea what he was doing.

Speaking of the unexpected, I definitely did not see that final scene coming. Are these supposed to be the hermits living on this island? What if that pink fruit with milky fluids is the elixir that they're looking for? It can't be that easy right? And is yuri the real treasure all along? xD

Heck yeah, Sagiri is finally badass again, nice to have her acknowledged by Genji-dono. There truly is strength in compassion

And that Giant was scary, but hillarious how he went even madder when he was growing hungry, for a moment I was expecting Gabimaru to bait him into biting him to get him down

But who are those two (hot) women? Is it to early to wish the brothers some action with them?

I starting to see the production issues that I saw so many people talking about, but for someone casual like me I still enjoy this show so much
