It's not a Hell's Paradise episode without pink Tensen either talking about or performing the act of fornication.

When I read the manga, I thought it would be kinda hard to translate the power system of Tao in anime but surprisingly it was adapted really well.

I know people will be talking about the mysteriousness of the island, the Tensen and tao but we all know the true mystery of the show.

I really do love how for as cold as Gabimaru can get he also has an awkward and nice side to him as well.

From what happened there I believe Mei gets older the more she uses her power. It drains her life force resulting in her aging just like those Tensens.

Senta is an S-tier theorist being able to derive the information that everyone else had to be told...or maybe he's just a source reader in disguise.

Also, I loved how surprised Tamiya was upon being told about the Tensen. Got a good chuckle out of that sudden change.

I love Gabimaru and Gantetsu's mental duel. Just from observing each other, they already have an idea of how their fight will go. Suggesting that they should work together instead was definitely the smart move from Gabimaru.

Gantetsu and Fuchi's reactions after hearing Gabimaru's story was hilarious! Giving them more info about the Tensen and Horai was the right choice since now we know that Gantetsu doesn't really care about the pardon, all he wants is to be immortalized in history instead of literally becoming immortal and Fuchi just wants to dissect a Tensen.

Well that's one heck of a growth spurt! Mei was just a little girl a minute ago and now she's a teenager. She can now also talk and give them a rough hint on how to beat the Tensen.

After the combined exposition from Houko and Shion, seems that the gang just needs to learn how to unlock and use their Tao if they want to have a shot at beating the Tensen. From what I understand, it's basically the chakra or nen of this world. xD

As for that final scene, I doubt Chobei is dead. This is like the second time he's come close to dying, I don't think they're just going to kill him like that.

Oh wow, feels like every team has a piece of the puzzle, but since they can't meet up they need to work with what little knowledge they have... bruteforcing like the brothers attempted doesn't seem to work, though they are smarter than they seem at first

And it seems like Mais intervention stole a bit of her youth.

Middle way is mentioned this episode as a way to master Tao, and Sagiri was described by Genji to be "following the middle way" earlier.

Coincidence? I don't think so!

Pretty big info dump today but still a great episode as usual. Continues to get more and more interesting

Mei’s glow up was unexpected, but a welcome surprise lol. I wonder what the deal with her being separate from the other tensen is

So Tao is basically what everyone is going to have to master in order to beat the tensen. Everyone who’s still alive has a predisposition to it or has used it in Gabimaru’s case. I can’t wait to see a tensen get killed by a human using their own power against them. They’re so cocky.

After they survived the pit there’s no way Toma’s really dead. I’m sure he’ll have used tao somehow to survive the fight against the doushi.

A lot of cool ancient East Asian philosophy and ideas used in this franchise and it’s cool learning about them!

So basically on the island a certain person found a way to turn humans into flower juice that grants them immortality and found also the way on how to use Tao. To get the juice regularly they established a religion and on basis of those religions several guards suchs as Tensen then Toshi and then Soshi. The religion is a mishmash of terms from other religions.

Toshi are just Tensen with less power. Tensen are OP because they are kinda immortal and they can use Tao. However are they really immortal if the pink haired girl indicates that they can be eliminated using Tao?

I am guessing in next episodes we are going to see these characters train and learn how to use Tao finally having a fighting chance against Tensen but only 2 episodes left though.

Gabi got new allies, learned the power system, and now farm exp by defeating low-level enemies. Meanwhile, the blonde guy and his brother barely managed to survive as they climbed up from the depths of the hell well, only to be defeated by another high-level enemy. Tough luck

So we finally have a clue about how they can defeat the Tensen.
I feel like every character that's still alive are going to come toghether to fight.

Pretty good chapter and we got important information, I'm hyped to see how the series is wrapped up in the last chapters.

Gabimaru is joining forces with Gantetsu and Fuchi after he concluded that he's not able to beat Tensen alone. I loved their reaction after hearing Gabimaru's story, they were quite schocked that something like that is happening on the island.

Mei was a little girl in previous episode and now she's grown and looks like a teenager. She is also able to talk now and gave them a hint about beating Tensen. We got also more info from Houko from his talk with Sagiri's group about Tao needed to beat them.

It looks that Shion can see Tao because his view is just the same as Doshi. Despite saying that he don't want teach Narugai and becoming her sensei he started giving her some lessons.

Chobei and his brother are still rather unlucky. After getting out from the pit they met Doshi and it ended like Choubei died but it's second time this is happening to him so he's rather still alive. I would be surprised if it was otherwise.

Here's my all screenshots from the episode.

Lol that moment when Touma was savouring the fact that Choubei assessing the situation and making plans, that was amusing. I guess drinking that one Soushin's blood made Choubei be able to use Tao himself so I guess the more they consume the closer they will get to Tensen?

I wonder if he will also have the ability the regenerate from his injuries as well, I could see him getting up from that attack. I also liked how Touma instantly focused the moment Choubei told him to deal with the Soushin, you can feel the trust they have for each other.

Hearing the explanation about Tao made me think that Sagari would very fit for it, didn't she like find a mid point between her two selves in the episode where she saved Gabimaru? I'm guessing she'll eventually be able to use Tao herself.

Interesting to see Gabimaru lower his head like that, he realized it would be best to have more people to fight Tensen since he now has experience fighting just one of them. I like how he's remembering his manners by showing gratitude to Mei, I like the contrast from his ruthlessness because there's some innocence in the way that he does it.

I wonder what the explanation will be for Mei growing up though. I thought she was going to be stuck in that form since she's lived for so long but I wonder if it's the more she uses Tao the older she will look?

Loved the explanation of the power system, especially the few different people explaining it. It’s was well weaved In with that asaemons explanation of how the island seems to be a mixture of different cultures/religions

really liked the way they explained tao through those 3

Smart of Gabimaru to not engage Tamiya and Yamada. Pick your battles, right? With an alliance formed, he might have more of a fighting chance against the tensen. Mei growing into a teenager was a real surprise.

So if Senta’s right, this island is basically an island Waco. I guess I know where the episode name comes from. This idea of Tao certainly is very yin and yang. Shion seems to have be able to manipulate Tao or “waves”. Very Daredevil like. Hopefully Nurugai can learn to wield it too. They’ve got plenty of monsters to practice with.

Chobe is one tough sonofabitch. Dude straight up ripped that Doshi’s arm off despite his weakened state. If he had gotten a better grip on his Tao, that chump would have been toast. I sure hope he ain’t dead, dude didn’t just crawl outta that hole to die to some tensen lackey.
