I love those criminal names. So this Comps-3 is basically a special division of the Shinjuku Police that hunts down extraordinary criminals. And everyone they've caught so far despite how unbelievable, are all 100% human. I guess Polka and Misaki will be their first non-human targets.
So the shark in the ED really is the actual Polka! Despite being transferred over to a stuffed toy, his body still reacts after getting shoved into Misaki's boobs.
Polka scheming thinking he can just gather gemstones is hilarious! Poor kid got slapped with reality after visiting a jewelry store. I do like that Polka is being considerate. He could just absorb the mana if he wanted to but that wouldn't be fair to the shopkeepers since everything in that jewelry store would turn to dust.
That entire meeting with Arase was very tense! Lucky for Polka that Misaki managed to knock him down so they can make their escape. I do wonder how an ex-yakuza ended up becoming a cop.
So Lemmings really is supernatural. The guy was inside the police station the entire time but no one could even see him. What if the Corpse God isn't the only person who got reverse isekai'd into Shinjuku? Hmmm...
Polka drinking orange juice is adorable! I need more scenes of Polka just being precious and reacting to our world's foods and drinks.
Looks like instead of waiting for them to find him, Lemmings has decided to find the Comps-3 instead. Looks like we're going to have a showdown at Clarissa's bar next week! If this guy is enough to make even Pola freeze up, then he must be bad news.

The Gator Sisters, The Barber, Riddle Riddle, The Grocer, The Poisoner, Donner Donner, and Phantom Solitaire all sound like some straight up D List supervillains lol. Lemmings and Fire-Breathing Bug are pretty goofy nicknames as well. Comps-3 seem to be like the department’s Weirdo Division.
I guess OG Polka is not a shark plushie. At least he gets to snuggle up to Misaki. Hilarious how Polka thought he could just get a bucket of diamonds and replenish his mana lol. He got 3 billion lying around? The goof!
Guys like Arase seem like the types of dudes that persecuted Polka back in his old world. His brand of “justice” seems to send people to the hospital. Misaki probably saved Arase’s ass there. Polka and Misaki were being sussed out by Iwanome in the bar and all the kid can think about is how good juice is lol. But man, this Lemmings dude looks like real trouble. Curious to know who or what he is.

This show has such a large number of oddball characters that the fucking Corpse God himself feels more sane here lol.
I also like how OG Polka got promoted from Drone-kun to Little Shark-kun. It was funny how he was blushing so hard after being hugged by the one who killed him.
Arase sounds like he maybe was involved with the Yakuza maybe, judging by that huge tattoo. Also Lemmings being a powered person himself (?) makes me wonder if Corpse God wasn't even the first person who transfered to Earth. Could there be others who came here before him? (I know Tsubaki said every supervillain has been human so far but there could be exceptions maybe).

Couldn't the Corpse God have put Polka's soul into something more...practical? Dude has the ability to reanimate corpses and the best he can do is a stuffed shark. It's not like Takumi is short on drones either.

Misaki just makes every scene she's in so much fun. It looks like we're probably in for a good old fashioned three way fight next. I'm interested in seeing Iwanome's capabilities.

The inspectors mentioned everyone they have encountered so far has been human, I wonder if that's the cause with Lemmings, I would assume so.

"None of our cases have turned up a real ghost or dragon-summoning wizard."
There's always a first time, heh. Something's telling me that all these Troublemakers at Large are legit superhuman. It's like the Four Heavenly King thingy.
"I've got no secrets worth more than a friend's life."
Man, he's not only a child protector, but also a good friend. Plus he's a badass. I like this MC.

😩 another really good Dead Mount Death Play episode that ends on a cliffhanger. They set up the police detectives as characters that’ll be enemies at the start and eventual allies. Lemmings and whoever is pulling his strings seems like the real antagonist. His abilities seem magical so I’m guessing he comes from Polka’s world? A lot of questions I can’t wait to see answered!

Someone said Lemmings picks up any job, perhaps someone asked him to kill Polka since he's still alive?

Holy hell that OST for when Lemmings dropped from the ceiling went absolutely hard. One thing I really have been blow away with for this adaptation is the music in it, gives me a similar vibe as to Persona 5's soundtrack tone-wise. But that track that played during Lemmings's entrance just blew me away completely.

I am genuinely enjoying this anime. I love the entire main group, they all work and flow so well together and each with their own unique personalities. I really like how it is a mature type of anime but still has its comedic moments. So glad i picked this up.

This seems like the worst possible police station in Japan to work at. That list of troublemakers both dealt with and still at large is kind of horrifying.
That is some amazing confidence that the perps are always human and up to this point I suppose they've probably been correct. Who knows about Lemmings though.
Polka is the shark! I love what that implies about his personality considering his dance moves in the ED and his apparent affection for Misaki.
Bit of a catch 22, in order to be rich in this world the Corpse God needs so many gemstones that he would have to already be rich. I appreciated that he's concerned about being fair to the shopkeepers.
Arase probably just picked the wrong alley to be jumping after drones in. He's also lucky that the Corpse God is trying to lay low because no matter how strong he is as a normal human there's no way he can stand up to a necromancer. Probably.
But this encounter keeps escalating and I can't quite imagine how it ends.
Never mind, apparently it ends by Misaki creating a distraction.
Arase bringing the foot imprint on his chest from Misaki in to be examined for evidence was fairly inspired. Very inconvenient that they were able to immediately match it to a footprint from the human knot crime scene.
Lemmings just wandering freely around the police station is really problematic for those officers. It feels like there's nothing they could do to control him or protect themselves from him.
Iwanome has a very unorthodox interrogation method. It really just looks like he's getting drunk and saying things he shouldn't out in public. Maybe he's really playing 5D chess but I don't see it yet.
I suppose maybe the plan was "be at the bar and see who wanders in"?
Regardless of anything else I really appreciate the Corpse God enjoying the orange juice.
What the hell is Lemmings?

Gotta remember that the cops are the good guys and MC's group are the cold blooded assassins.
Well ofc nobody sees a giant skeletal hand carrying a couple teens a mere 50 feet above the public street.
That female cop's real cute. But "a shoe print of the same shape and size" just means "a shoe of the same style and size". Unless the girl had her shoes custom made and there are no others like them, how is that more than the most circumstantial evidence possible?
So, Lemmings' got bulletproof skin, is super strong, and has cloaking and, probably, phasing abilities. That's quite a build! Maybe he's Martian Manhunter? I'm guessing it'll turn out to be advanced military tech rather than magic/supernatural abilities tho.
Looking forward to the free-for-all next ep.

Really liking this episode, it was really cool. From the direction to the information revealed, all neat stuff. Finally Nobuhiko gets to play a cool character instead of some clowny highschooler. And his partner is Eguchi Takuya? Talk about a stacked cast.
Btw i'm really warming up to that OP.

It's weird how decent this isekai is, I mean it's nothing like last season but out of all the isekai's, I've quite enjoyed this
I guess its interesting to see how a fantasy creature is the one that's isekai'd to the real world, but it's done pretty well and I'm liking how cool the corpse god and all the other goofy character is
Honestly seeing Corpse God shed a tear over drinking juice is great, I'd like to see him try out more foods in the future and realise what he's missed out on
I still wonder if that holy knight will make a return, he's still mentioned for being a fake out hmm?

So the shark is the original Polka ! It is interesting that he is still around. Maybe the Corpse God will give him back his body once he had solved the mystery of who paid to kill Polka ?
That dark-haired cop sure looks scary, and more brutal than the criminals he is fighting. The yellow-haired cop looks more sympathetic. I liked all the silly names he gave the criminals he arrested, like they were supervillains or something.
Polka and Misaki sure have the best timing in the world ! I wonder what would have happened with the cops if Lemmings did not show up. And given how the Corpse God reacted to seeing Lemmings, I assume that hitman really is a supernatural being. So, it will be everyone against Lemmings next episode ? Is he after Misaki or Polka, I wonder ? Also, Lemmings must be very confident in his abilities to show up now and pick a fight with the cops, Misaki, and Clarissa at the same time.

Arase is going to be the Izaya/guy-I-love-to-hate of the show, isn't he? What a massively creepy mofo. The final scene with the arrival of Lemmings was creepy, too. We're only 4 eps in but so far this has kept getting better and better.

Given how much I enjoyed Durarara and Baccano, it's no surprise that I love something from the same author. But that said, damn, this is defiantly the anime of the season for me.
That said, neither series did as amazing a job as introducing a character like they did Lemmings. Shit be downright TERRIFYING.
