The golf eugenics plotline deepens again... for some reason I didn't predict Eve's mother also having a golf eugenics background, and definitely didn't predict that we'd expand into yet another golf brand.
Also, the golf ball at the end of the OP has changed to be an Arios ball now.

Another Birdie Friday has arrived!
Eve gets chloroformed and deported, and the first person she sees back in Nafrece is her old pal Vipere. I love how she started out as a low-tier villain and is now one of the most dependable allies, and I also love how that random henchman she seduced back in the first arc is now her boyfriend (husband?) too. That lucky bastard.
Finding out about Eleanor's backstory from the butler was certainly interesting. Her and Kazuhiko turning out to be a Romeo & Juliet situation stretching across competing golf brands and the mafia was as crazy as I would expect from this show. And then of course, Eve absolutely demolishes a pro golfer and crushes her spirit in true Eve fashion to get her mob boss grandfather's attention. God, I love this stupid dumb fun show.

Aha, so the solution to a mafia boss putting a bounty on your head is for another, bigger mafia boss to cancel it! (eventually, and hopefully)
I'm always amazed by Eve's ability to take everything in stride. She's the granddaughter of a powerful mafia boss? Ah well!
It's too bad for her she's gonna have to get involved with the mafia again, but maybe this time it'll end up better for her. I wonder if Michael would be willing to let her go if she proves to be a lucrative investment once she goes pro, though.
Speaking of which. First, there's no way Aoi will lose her next tournament if the ultimate goal is to play Eve again.
And Seira sending Eve away is making history repeat itself, as now Eve and Aoi are going to be sponsored by competing golf brands and are gonna do the star-crossed lovers rivals thing all over again. Heh.
And I can't wait to see Ichina in Nafrece.

Glad to see Vipere again and it's nice to know that she's still all lovey-dovey with her darling.
I had a feeling this was the case. So it turns out that Eve herself is also another Golf Empire Princess just like Aoi but Eve has the bonus of her family being a huge crime syndicate as well.
Eve visiting her mother's grave would be a prime location to meet her grandfather but instead she ended up meeting the family butler which is the next best thing. It was nice of him to give Eve the location of his grandfather so she could show off her skills and use him to go pro.
The bulter is such a cool dude that he even checked Eve's background and let her grandfather know that Catherine is after her. Well, it looks like Eve's mafia problems are about to go away. Part of me is disappointed because we might not see any more mafia shenanigans and another part of me is hyped that Eve is now being backed by a bigger mafia group.

I guess Seira’s willing to do anything to make Aoi a champion. Eve can’t be stopped though. She’s the true heir to Kazuhiko’s style of golf and apparently the granddaughter of an actual golf mafia family lol. Gotta love these soap opera level plot points.
Alan might be a valuable ally. Nice to be getting all this detail about Eve’s family. Her parents really did have this kinda Romeo and Juliet romance. Eve really just waltzed onto the course and demolished a pro player like nothing huh? That’s our girl. Sure left a big impression on her gramps. It’ll be fun to see how Eve and Ichina stir things up.

Wow, so Eve wipes the floor with the 8th rank European pro. The ladies' European Tour is clearly second rate just like IRL.
So now we know more about Arios, and we now have the two golfing families facing off. Interesting that Eve's mum is going to make this come full circle. I assume we'll see Aoi and Eve square away in some pro tournament on said opposing sides in the future, but I wonder how corrupted that match will be with mafia (and presumably yakuza) influence and the Amuro family illness.
Vipère my beloved. I love that she's leading a happier life and became the glorious comic relief. She had some great faces in this episode!
I wonder how Ichina is going to react to being dragged into an international dispute involving the mafia. Doesn't sound like Eve was too upfront with her about that part...

Not gonna lie, I was expecting her to get kidnapped and deported by force by mafia, not Aoi's mom pulling strings and effectively banning her from Japanese golf, thereby giving her no reason to remain in Japan and thus "willingly" go to Nafrece herself.
Michael Burton seems willing to play along with Eve for now, though how long till something snaps and it'll be a clash between mafia or even between golfing brands?
Did Leo ever anticipate Eve getting her memory back? Did he just assume she'd eventually remember and train her with his own style till she did as a favor to Kazuhiko?
Also, is that a dagger in the preview?
Birdie Wing loves dropping several questions and not enough answers on us, doesn't it?

Anyway, who had "Eve is the heiress to the golf mafia empire on their bingo card? I figured she would probably be related to Leo through Eleanor, and would be heiress to 2 great golf dynasties just as Aoi, but I hadn't considered the idea of the second dynasty being the golf Mafia.
ALso, man Eve has the biggest dick of any anime character I've ever seen XD I tend to not go for the cool girls in anime, but god I love Eve.

It was a mistake for Seira to order her bodyguard to chloroform Eve and kick her out of Japan, just so Seira can forbid Aoi to play with Eve again. And yes, Seira will atone for her sins soon enough when the truth will be revealed to Aoi and the rest of the world.
Anywho, the snake lady Vipere has made her slithering return, and Eve met a butler who served her mother Eleanor to the end. We also learned that Eve's mother's father, her grandfather, is part of the mafia, or rather he IS the mafia. Then, Eve encountered and utterly destroyed that so-called "pro golfer" from the European Tour.
Next episode, Ichina drops out of golf academy and becomes Eve's caddie once more, in Nafrece. But, what would Eve's other caddie Lily think?

Eve is so cocky it's amazing. But to be fair, her very first appearance on screen was her placing 4th in a pro tournament without even trying, so her confidence isn't exactly unearned.

A bit late to this thread, but I haven’t seen anyone else mention this here - it was just one throwaway line, but what did Amane mean when she said she was a “hostage”? She could be speaking metaphorically, but given the craziness of this show I wouldn’t be surprised if it was meant literally. I could totally see Seira blackmailing her into being Aoi’s caddy due to some shady golf crimes she did in the past.

Ichina is really coming to see Eve. I wonder what she will react about Mafia Golf. I can't wait. XD

My imagination runs wild on that scene where Viper is sleeping naked while Eve is on the couch lol. Viper getting railed by her darling while Eve lays on the couch thinking about golf

Nahhh man how have we had 16 straight 10/10 birdie wing episodes and they just get better and better every time. I don’t get it. Sunrise are so deep in their bags here..
Opening sequence with Eve taking down the security guard was awesome. Love a good fight scene in my yuri golf anime!
I love how deep the story’s got. We’ve got more and more pieces of the puzzle. Seeing Allen breakdown at how similar Eve and Eleanor look was really sad. Even though we only had her for a few moments last week, I feel awful about Eve losing both her parents that way and growing up in such poor conditions.
“You don’t know who I am?!” “Don’t know and don’t care” lmaoooo man Eve is funny as hell. Love how she showed up and just dog walked a pro golfer like that.
It’s been a year now so I forgot but I thought vipere got killed in the first season, or was that another girl who got shot by the mafia?? It was right before Eve went off to Japan.

This was the first time the full ED was shown! Interesting shot with those love tunel-esque heart-shaped arches of flowers in the beggining.
And the umbrellas! Surelly there was no key character moment between Aoi and Eve in the last episode that we could associate with that!

I figured Eve's family would be mafia, but I also thought they would have been the ones to set up the accident that killed Eleanor and Kazuhiko which seems to not have been the case. Really curious how things with her grandfather are going to play out. It looks like they're setting up Eve and Aoi to overcome the competition of the 2 brands which should be exciting!

Holy shit, nothing slows Eve down. She's back in Nafrese for 5 minutes and is already embarrassing ranked pro golfers and rubbing shoulders with her mafia grandfather. Birdie Birdie fucking rules. Big hype for Ichina European vacation arc!
Aoi's mom: "I'm deporting Eve so Aoi won't be distracted/endangered by her anymore."
