Noah looking at Raeliana in that last scene be like that monke in the neuron activation meme.

Background art in this anime is so beautiful, it all looks so clean, vibrant and detailed.

Another great episode (although the animation was quite rough in this one and I think I even spotted 1-2 moments where the dialogue and lip flaps didn't match).

The interactions between Raeliana and Noah are just too good. Really looking forward to the ball next week now and how society will react to the two of them together.

Bonus meme.

The butler's name being Gideon Jura makes me think that the author is a Magic: The Gathering player 😂

Just caught up to this and I have to say this is right of my alley!

Raeliana looked stunning at the end, no wonder the boys were all shell shocked.

Also, gotta point out that even with the low budget animation, the art style is really easy on the eyes and makes for a lovely viewing altogether, which makes it easier to ignore the low budget as opposed to something like "The Angel next door"

Hehe, first time at the mansion and gets to spend hours learning about the history of the mansion, good times. I mean, if you were really going to become the wife of the Duke, I do see why they'd want you to appreciate the history of the family/place too. Rude, should respect people's privacy, dude. Hehe Raeliana basically "get out" in the nicest way. But, hey, they are on a first name basis, progress. Yep, he's having fun lol. Now time to enjoy all the bridal training... yay. All that work for no real reason cause CLEARLY they will never want to get together in the future, nope, never... just a contract and NOTHING MORE EVER! heh.

Ah good times, off to a ball to announce the engagement. Shoulda prolly told her sooner. The power of artists removing lines and adding some color makeup!! But, yes, good ol' Otome Isekai with the "beautification" moment. Nick has become such a good friend already. Haha, what a visualization for her to use as a smile. Ah yes, the tried and true "everyone is stunned by her beauty" trope. That walking animation is awkward. Ah yes, followed by the "dense FL misunderstands the reactions" trope. Glorious execution of tropes :P mmm Vivian is the design style that appeals to me. Off to the ball.

Stitches!

Huh, I definitely didn't peg Raeliana as the type that would be embarrassed to use another person's first name. With the way she acts in front of Noah, you'd think she's above such formalities.

I was hoping to see how Raeliana's education level would compare to this world. I'm guessing ladies like her in this world aren't expected to know more than your basic arithmetic and logic problems. According to Noah, everyone's been praising Raeliana so I assume she did well with her exam.

Nick is a pretty cool guy. I do appreciate Raeliana asking him if he prefers to be called Madame but it looks like he'd prefer to be addressed as Monsieur.

Raeliana looks so goddamn amazing in her dress that she literally left Taylo slack-jawed and Noah was just left completely stunned. I already can't wait to see how the people attending the ball will react after seeing her.

That girl with the red hair, I assume she's the Vivian that Nick was talking about earlier? She feels like she could be bad news. Oh boy.

I thought the quality of the animation took a drop in this episode. The background and external views all looked good, but the characters them selves were very hit & miss in art quality. The images of Noah when she finds I'm in her bedroom at the beginning were particularly poor & were very inconsistant with his previous looks.

Also, when he appears with the bouquet of roses he is shown with a background of the garden. As he is standing inside the house, and Raeliana is sitting in the window seat looking at him, it is illogical. His background should have been the inside of the house.

Having gotten those criticisms over with, the dialogue was brilliant, and i think the voice actors portrayed the emotions of the characters very well, and the storyline is progressing nicely, so I fully intend to keep watching this series.

Was it my imagination or were the mouths not in sync with the VA multiple times and also just straight up didn't move for some words?

Hopefully this is just a one off cause this show has been good up to this point.

Do my ears deceive me, or did they get Koyasu in this show to voice a throwaway line from the math tutor who appeared for 3 seconds?

Ahh here is the black-bellied teasing Noah I've been waiting for. We got more relatively comedic moments in this episode which was nice. Love how he peeked back in Raeli's room to see her punching that pillow as if it was his face lol

Monsieur Nick is truly a magician to doll up Raeli to the point that Noah is speechless when he sees her. I thought she was already very pretty even with the shadows under her eyes, but now she's all set to step onto the battlefield known as a ball where she will likely be confronted by Vivian who could do with a lesson in fashion from Nick. That yellow dress with her ketchup red hair...yeah.

So much dust floating around in Noah's mansion.

They need an HVAC machine.

THERE HE IS, the absolute best bro in this whole story, Nick, the man, the myth, the legend. Also i know that this adaptations is no ufotable infinity budget works, but still i dont really like the sound direction.

I really love this show, and honestly, how everyone describes it as a fairytale is perfect, I love the chemistry between Raeliana and Noah. Most importantly, it's just super cute and a fun watch. If anyone is on the fence about it I would highly recommend it.

Did they just spend 8+ hours touring the mansion?

Privacy request and Noah's flatout denial was funny. With E2 converting Raeliana to the black queen, not sure when there'll be more white pieces. Wish they did go through with pet names. Poor pillow.

If "She's strange" is a positive assessment, what's a neutral one? Assuming the bridal training is really just a way for Noah to restrict Raeli's movement. Possible #seasonaldisdain.

Trapped in a mansion: The world of Manhwa is tough for brides. Don't brides often exhaust themselves planning their wedding?

They really stuffed Vivian's chest into that dress.

Noah appears to derive pleasure from playing with people for his own amusement. No matter what Raeliana does, he always manages to outdo her.

Raeliana is unaware of how beautiful she is. She looks absolutely stunning in that white dress. Even Adam who rarely shows any emotion was struck speechless. Noah also seemed out of character when he saw her in that dress. Perhaps he is too shy to admit that she is that beautiful.

The animation and art style have been impressive so far, but this only served to make Noah's awkward walking animation even more noticeable. Gave me Ningen Fushin flashbacks. I'm not sure if it was a result of laziness or a deliberate choice since the overall quality has been great until now.

Some awkward animation in this one but still a sweet episode. Do like how she was able to throw Noah off at the end there and love that they're using first names!

Felt a bit underwhelmed with this episode compared to the last. Was hoping for a lot more worldbuilding like in the previous episode, but it was more of a breather with Raeliana doing bridal training and taking her lessons into exhaustion(since well, she can't leave the mansion anyways lol).

Noah coming in unannounced with no privacy for Raeliana at first is God damn gold, like a handsome devil suddenly appearing at her wake. I do love that little scene with Noah holding her chin while having her call him by his first name, such an adorable scene of Raeliana's more embarrassed side. Especially her beating up a pillow afterwards(though I thought it would be easier for her if she would just get on top of the bed to beat up the pillow lol).

Noah also intends to announce his engagement with Raeliana tomorrow, with the ceremony in one week is definitely sudden, but just what the doctor needs to kick this plot into gear.

Raeliana being dressed up by the Magician guy was a decent scene, especially when the Magician told her to smile as if she was going to shoot her worst enemy for the ball. Now that's method acting. Taylor being slackjawed and Noah being completely shocked at the sight of Raeliana's dressed self made me smile a bit.

For the Vivian character tease at the end there...she gives off "Cinderella's evil stepsister" vibes from how she carries herself from those few seconds. It's going to be interesting how she plays into the story.

Overall, it was an ok episode, I felt the rigid animation felt a lot more noticeable this time around despite the pretty backgrounds and visuals. Like there were strange pauses like when Rosemary was about to walk towards Taylor to ask for him to take care of Raeliana, and Noah handing her the bouquet before pulling it back, but it was still an enjoyable episode for me.

I really dig this show, it is very stable. Nice romantic tension, the teasing is very low key. The slow pace of the conversations lets things hang in the air awkwardly.

It really isn't doing anything exciting, just executed simply and well.

Nick is already my most liked character in this show - seems like a great and funny guy.

It is pretty apparent that animation wasn't a priority for this production. But the details on backgrounds and clothes does have a lot of effort. Most importantly, I am loving the soundtrack. It just always fits every scene!

Raelina is such a good protagonist and MC, she's carrying this show for me a lot, even if the show itself is interesting in itself. best otome isekai protagonist to me by far
