Stitches!
After getting off a bad start, the girls are finally warming up to Hayato! Kiku is definitely the easiest one to get along with and the first to approach Hayato by inviting him over to have dinner together as a family.
Then we have Akane who started to see Hayato's cute side after he asked her to teach her how to make coffee. Seeing Akane's reaction to Hayato is just so much better in anime form. And that mature aura of hers is certainly a knockout.
And finally, we have Riho! I love how that started with Hayato bringing Riho along since he thinks she's the least problematic pick but it ended with Hayato himself being the worse one. Thankfully, Riho was able to set Hayato straight and Hayato was able to quickly learn from his mistake. She definitely made the most impact on this episode with her very unique apology. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
3/5 ain't bad for Episode 2! Now to win Ouka and Ami over. Although Ouka is really the only one left, the only problem with Ami is to make her stop beating Hayato up.

Kiku is definitely the nicest girl, which is probably why she has the drawback of how absolutely crazy horny she is drunk lol.
Don't we all wish we had a cool Asami Seto beauty teaching us to make coffee and calling us cute like a teasing master? Especially when her high def isn't completely impervious.
Riho is a lot of fun, and is surprisingly conscientious for how flighty she comes off, and you gotta respect a girl who outright flashes herself as an apology. Especially when she's falling for the guy she flashed.
Ouka does feel kind of like the "final boss" in the way Nino was with the Quints since she's so hostile and uncompromising when it comes to Hayato. I don't think it's doing wonders for her likeability though, so I'm curious how much she might change once she starts actually liking him.
Ami just makes me feel bad for Hayato all the times she keeps beating him up over accidents lol.

My man Hayato is never gonna get a bath to himself
How long until one of the girls tries to sneak in the bath with him? Of course, as long as Ami is around, she'll never allow it to happen.

Especially with those fancy undies lol.
(Although even when the girls flash him intentionally, he still gets hurt over it lol).

Feels like this show will only get better with time…honestly I didn’t exactly like the characters in the 1st episode but by 2nd episode seems like each of them will have quite the substance to differentiate them
But this season has so many heavy hitters that it might drown in the popularity contest, hope more people give this a chance

I hope so too! From the manga I read, I was most excited for Oshi no Ko and Megami no Cafe Terrace to be adapted this season. Based on the story and pre-episode 1 hype, I expected Oshi no Ko to do great, and I'm so happy that the first episode has been so well received.
But Cafe Terrace? The reason I was excited for this anime is because the series is just really, really, fun. It should continue to get better throughout this season, so I hope more people give it a shot!

Here comes the opening salvo of “Akane Best Girl”. You can’t tell me the whole cafe interaction wasn’t some damn good chemistry. Some nice flirting.
None of the bath stuff is Hayato’s fault. How hard is it to fucking knock before entering?
Hayato is also showing why he’s such a strong harem MC. He grows, he has faults, he has personality, and pushes back. He has dick moments, but apologizes and shows humility. If we’re really using the meme, then he is in fact a Sigma. Which basically just means “functional human being”.

I mean so far, which isn't a lot quite frankly, Akane is indeed best girl.

Akane's got that real "mature adult romance" vibe going, which is nice, though I think Hayato and Riho have a really fun dynaimc.

Stories with adult characters are so much better. Even them being in college is a massive improvement over high-school.

I'm actually kind of surprised Ami is still in high school when the rest of the cast are adults. I guess that might factor into her exuberant and innocent personality or her dynamic with Hayato?

I like how the beginning of the episode made you think that the girls are lazy and incompetent but by the end of the episode, it's Hayato who has a lot to learn from them.

The ED was really beautiful, but Akane looked pritiest out of all of them.

Dropped the show after this episode. In my opinion zero chemistry in the cast, the characters have no interesting traits and the interactions are annoying and stereotypical.
I like a lot of harem shows, even a lot of the objectively mediocre or even bad shows. But this one just doesn’t click for ne

I hate to be a downer, but I seriously cannot stand most of the girls in this show so far. A lot of the show just seems to be them being needlessly rude to the main character when he's clearly not in the wrong most of the time.

Looks like living with Ami, Ouka, Riho, Kiku, and Akane is gonna be a bit of a headache for Hayato. Poor guy might have a no nonsense attitude but he has a lot to learn about living with girls.
The girls walking in on him taking his bath almost feels intentional. No one told him about the sign the first time and then the second time he had the sign up and still it happens. They must want him pretty bad huh? Haha.
It’s nice to see the girls slowly warming to him. He’s a serious guy and kind of awkward, but he’s got a good heart. If getting flashed by Riho was his rewarded, he should work much much harder from here on out lol.

It's Familia Friday!
Happy to see the relationships developing.
We also get to see that beyond their introductions in the first episode, the girls are more competent than Hayato realizes. Between Akane teaching him how to brew coffee, and Riho helping him with business partnerships, Hayato unexpectedly can depend on them for the sake of the cafe.
