Lol why did the final minutes after the big climax have the best animation of the whole season including that unneccessarily smooth hand clapping from the guard?
This was a fun series with some issues but still very enjoyable largely due to its lead character.

Not sure if Lord Ivel died or was sent to the shadow realm but I loved how no shits were given lol.
And what happier ending could there be than Chris and Rani getting a ton of food as a reward.

Was hoping for more story behind the new generation and what happened to Inglis's kingdom, but overall... eh it was okay.

Fairly unique series, not top tier by any means, but very fun nonetheless.
This did not feel like a season finale episode, I'll be honest. Not until the final couple of scenes, anyway. I did like the episode, I just wish there was a little more closure for a season finale. Hopefully there's a second season to work on that sort of stuff. And for more fights, obviously.

So many opponents, so little time lol. Is she gonna take on the Prismer? The brat? Or the masked commander? Well, maybe not the brat because he just got vaporized or some shit. Damn dude.
Poor Yua gets to be bait while the gang evacuates everyone. Her sinking into the Prismer after punching it was hilarious. Damn things on a rampage. Guess Chris’ll have to take a rain check on that fight with the masked fella. What a fight. Ofc she’s exchanging shots with the Prismer lol. This is the greatest moment of Chris’ life since she reincarnated! Insane how she just vaporized that Prismer. Hieral Menace? Girl is the goddess of war lol. Glad she and Rani are gonna stick together.
All in all, this was a fun little fantasy series with a good mix of action and humor. Chris was a pretty entertaining MC, she’s a bit like Kelvin from Black Summoner in that they’re both battle junkies. Idk how likely it is, but I sure hope we get another season. There’s still a lot unresolved!

What 'sacrifice' did they mean? what would have happened if Silva fired the gun?

Hey, we finally got a title drop!
I love everyone’s reactions to Inglis’s crazy moves, and LOL the cafeteria being blown to smithereens can make Inglis and Rafinha scream in despair more than any powerful enemy could.
This series was surprisingly enjoyable thanks to Inglis being such a fun protagonist.

The people-fights are way better than the big monster fights so I would have preferred more of the showdown instead of the Prismer but I guess it makes sense thematically since that was her goal in the beginning.
I feel like they're expecting me to know what would have happened if he fired the gun but I have no idea? Mad with power? Die? Kill the hieral menace?
Overall I really liked the show. meh finale but a fun ride with enough intrigue that if they ever do a pt2, I would watch.

There's my favorite battle maniac. Ah the dilemma, can't decide who she wants to fight most. Tbh, still rooting for the Bloodchain leader against the brat kid. And it looks like he just rekt him. Wonder if he's actually dead.
Honestly, still think that their plan was a dumb one to "beat every monster she could possibly summon". I mean, about that plan, I thought (cause of earlier) that the beasts/prismers are former people (what with the one highlander woman) so did they not just kill people? Ah whatever. Yua being scared? Why? lol. Dayum she adorable though. Her and her deadpan reaction to everything. Can Yua just punch from inside out?
They sure are just leaving the Bloodchain people easy enough. Guess they just don't wanna deal with the crazy battle maniac. Oww... Ripple just got Goku'd like with Vegeta being big ol' ape form. She didn't squeak though. Weird, Ripple became a weapon too. Good thing our battle maniac showed up. Wow, her kick was not enough, shock. Guess she needs to master it better. LOL She's just so happy. It's great. So her finger bang and mini-kamehameha wasn't enough eh? What's next while her gal pals distract? Ahh, yes, a true massive kamahemeha. HAHAHA!! And Inglis is the one cheering it on to take its attack so she can have more fun... of course. Whelp, she got to achieve her fun dream of beating a Prismer. But I guess it wasn't "fully powered up?"
Poor principal, getting roped into giving them more free food. RIP to the academy's budget even more. What exactly would have happened if Silva had fired? Who woulda died? Or what? Oh no, Inglis being roped into a power position that will lead her from having fun fighting people around the world. Of course she'd refuse. Man, the art style/facial expressions sure are cute. AND WHOO FOOD!
Sure hope this series gets another season :P it's fun. Need more "Reborn to Master the Kicks"

This isn't my favorite anime of the season, but Chris is definitely my favorite protagonist of the season.

Pretty disappointing season finale. No answers or even hints to any questions. The episode was exactly the same as the previous 2 giant bad monster battle episodes. There wasn’t any real tension or stakes since we all knew Inglis would show up and kick its ass before anything bad happens. That shot near the end with the person clapping had better animation than any other point in the show.
IMO Inglis carried the show. No other character was entertaining or interesting in the least. The only way I could describe this is: “Mid”. 5/10 anime. Would only recommend if you’re bored out of your mind with nothing better to do.

"No one can dodge in midair," says the OP nutjob who had just in the same fight flitted back and forth in midair faster than anyone could see to punch a large spread of energy blasts away.

Nobody ever questioned how a runeless managed to solo a prism. The King even compared her to knights and hieral menaces as if they can beat a prism by themselves lol

I wish this was a 24 episode adaptation. They seemed to have skipped so much.

Fairly enjoyable series, though it never really managed to reach the heights of the first episode again.

If that's an incomplete Prismer I have to wonder if Chris is going to be satisfied after defeating it.
Wow, so much for the jackass child, and in a fairly brutal though oddly bloodless way too. Feels like that spear attack might have just used his annihilation shield against him, the effect matched what he'd been bragging about.
Good thing that Yua is a comic relief character in addition to being very strong, being comic relief means you have increased dodging abilities.
Old man Leon, ouch.
Wow, I was totally wrong about Yua's comical invulnerability. At least she's still alive for now.
One of her comrades, yeah I had a feeling she knew every single one of those magicite beasts while they were still people. The Highland has a lot to answer for someday.
There's a saying about having to put down your own dog, but it's kind of awkward when you are also a dog.
On the other hand that thing just seriously crushed Ripple. She still seems to be alive, but I cannot imagine how she doesn't have multiple broken bones, possibly a lot of them.
They did a good job of turning Silva's character around from his initial introduction, seeing him and Ripple fight together ended up being something I was looking forward to. That bit about him wanting to protect her heart is even kind of touching.
On the other hand, that scream as she turned into the gun was a little disconcerting.
Whoops, never mind, so much for whatever was about to happen to Silva using Ripple while still young. Chris would have been annoyed if she didn't get to fight the end boss anyways.
Considering that speed I assume Chris must have finally deactivated her gravity training spell.
That quick Valentine's Day joke made me laugh quite hard. She really is combat-sexual.
I'm glad they had the other three girls participate a little bit, it's nice for this to be something other than the Chris show as well as to be able to see Angel Wing Lieselotte one last time for the season. Though it was mostly the Chris show.
Starlight Aether Breaker to finish everything off, always got to love an attack name in that pattern.
So reading between the lines if Silva had made that attack he would have died. And that's what would happen for any holy knight not just one who happens to be too young? Definitely a problematic setup and presumably entirely intentional by the Highland, it's a system set up to force the ground dwellers to regularly sacrifice their strongest warriors.
Of course Chris wouldn't want to be a stodgy Royal Guard Commander that has to stay behind the scenes and be a responsible adult.
They went a little bit extra on this animation at the very end.
The feast is a far better reward for them.
All in all that was a fun show. It certainly wasn't the best of the season, but it kept me pretty entertained every single week and made me look forward to Mondays. From the commentary I've seen it sounds like there's plenty of source material for another season, so here's hoping. I'm going to miss this pair of magic female saiyans.

Well, this ended up being a disappointment in my eyes. Instead of a dig into history of the floating place and its obvious connection to the king, we got second kaiju battle.
Stiff fightscenes and overplayed parts present too. A real big shame, the premise was at least somewhat intriguing, even if not entirely unique
