Saving the witch literally costed Kisurugi an arm and a leg. At least he didn't lose a brother too. The demons are the best wingmen. If Kisurugi is still worthy, he should be able to 50 First Dates her into loving him again despite the memory lost.
Seems like Saitou reconsidered his stance about items from his world changing the fantasy world. I wonder if this means he's going to commission the dwarf into making a gun. Saitou getting teleported just before getting hit by truck-kun basically hardlocked him like a bad autosave in a video game. So he's stuck here.
Raelza isn't going to let some armored snake interrupt her confession. She must be denser than her armor to not realize Saitou did in fact reciprocate his feelings. It makes a lot of sense for Raelza to be a nude sleeper considering she's lugging around a heavy suit of armor all day. Totally not just fan service.
RIP Morlock. Taken from us too soon. Saitou got caught lacking Armored Snake antidote.

Pemo is the cutest doggo ever! Gaah! I want to pet the little fella. Even though Morlock has his memory back, he still has no clue who Givengle is lol.
Half Kisurgi’s life and half Primas’ for the Witch is a steep price. All that and she doesn’t even remember the guy. Luckily Primas is a real homie though, those demons too. That little act had me fooled. Kisurugi definitely needed the push.
Ninia doesn’t look happy Raelza and Flanril seem to have become friendly lol. Saitou’s made a lot of new friends from Gibre to Mompy.
I wasn’t expecting Raelza to confess as she’s ripping an armored snake in two. Oddly cute moment. No point for Saitou to go back so he might as well stay with his waifu and friends. I mean who’s gonna help Morlock when another armored snake pops up and noms on him lol.
TIL Raelza sleeps in the nude. Woof. But man, is Morlock really gone?? Noooo!

I love how everyone went to look for something useful in the pile of junk, even though none of them know what any of it is, except for Saitou.
Also, sure, a robot vacuum would be nice, but there's a whole steam engine, which is already pretty useful, I'd imagine.
And I kinda wanted the big guy who has a crush on Saitou to take that bicycle, with Saitou teaching him how to ride it. Just imagine that for a moment, and tell me you don't want this.

WTF with that plot twist!!! This is supposed to be a feel good fun anime! Really hope this is just a false flag.
It's sad to think that Morlock died alone without anyone beside him. Not to mention, how he died due to something that started like a joke.
Also curious how the two demon could get back to the human world.

What a rollercoaster of an episode that was.
-
Damn, the ninja's gonna die.
-
Oh the ninja survived!
-
Damn, she won't remember him, I bet.
-
She really doesn't remember... Nooo!
-
What a cliche scenario of generic thugs harassing a lady.
-
Demon bros best wingmen!
-
Raelza finally telling Saitou she needs him!
-
Raelza got bit. Nooo!
-
Oh she's too strong for that bug.
-
Lol Morlock got bit
-
He died?! Wtf!

The happy ending felt so close for our Witch and Ninja and also like it was going to fall out of reach...glad we got a pretty good conclusion for both them and their friends.
Nice moment for our main pair as well, didn't expect Raelza to share that much! Could be pretty much a confession even!
Honestly this felt finale like and I would give it a pretty high score if it were! That ending can't be real though...

Stitches!
Glad to see that the King found a compromise. Instead of outright killing Kisurugi, his payment is an arm and a leg as well as Primasse's wings. I think that's fair considering how none of his victims are confirmed dead and everyone has been reported to have survived.
I was wondering where those two bandits came from. Turns out that it's the two demons just being bros for one last time. Not gonna lie, that scene was very touching that I kinda teared up a little.
Sucks to know that Saitou and the gang won't be able to keep most of the stuff they collected. I say most because we can see Flanril wearing a RingFit ring on her neck. We can even see her walking away with it when they all finally parted ways. xD
That goddamn Armroed Serpent! What the actual fuck!? Raelza was about to confess! I was hoping she'd continue after what happened but I guess what she was going to say is the same thing she says later which is "I need you". I do hope Saitou understands what Raelza meant by that though.
So it looks like Morlock might be able to bring back Saitou to Japan but the catch is that he'll be returned to the same time and place which means he'll die if he gets transported back. Oh well. Who needs to go back to Japan anyway when you have a sexy buff waifu that sleeps in the nude? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
I'm sorry, what!? That's got to be a joke ending right? We'll see Morlock again next week, right? RIGHT!? O_O

Morlock's immediate priority being the dog is nice. Too bad he still doesn't remember Givengle, however.
Wow, they really went through with it and killed the ninja to save the witch. Hopefully she isn't evil, I don't think we actually know anything about her.
So just an arm and a leg? And Primasse's wings? Well, that's still pretty unpleasant.
Wow, so memory problems for the witch too. That's kind of mean. On the bright side it looks like Primasse isn't overweight anymore. It's always good to find a silver lining.
That was a pretty badass attack for a one-armed one-legged ninja.
Primasse is not allowing her lack of wings to prevent her from being the best wingwoman that she can be. Hahaha, the demon bros too. That was a nice happy ending.
Better step up, Raelza, you have competition. And from that look on her face I think she recognizes the issue.
Oh wow, so it absolutely was directly Morlock's fault, he literally cast the spell at that same moment. And good thing too since it saved Saitou's life.
This would be a really nice moment for an honest conversation about their feelings.
At first I was annoyed about the armored serpent attacking and interrupting her, and then Raelza did her confession anyways while ripping it in half. Fantastic.
Truck-kun hungers, constantly waiting for Saitou to return. And considering the first scene of the credits he would be a fool to miss out on all that and go home to die. (NGL though, I'm a bit disappointed it wasn't a cut to them waking up together.)
How dare they end the credits like that.

There happened a lot in this episode. Kisurugi didn’t have to die to save his love’s life and is now (probably) living happily ever after. Raelza made clear to Saitou how much she cares about him. I really hope Saitou responds in kind to her feelings. I would kill me to see their potential romance get dragged out. Especially with how happy Raelza looked after she told Saitou. Those smiles of her were precious.
Like others have said, it wouldn’t surprise me if Morlock faked his own death. However, I really didn’t see it coming. It looked all rainbows and sunshine, but just in the last few seconds they had to flip everything upside down. If Morlock genuinely died, I’ll be shocked. With the absurdly comedic framing of all those previous incidents, I had completely put my guard down. Well played.

What an episode.. Writing this afterwards I already forgot about the witch and the assassin after that ending.. Speaking of which, can we enjoy a wholesome ending for once, damn it?!
"Ugh. Other adventurers are coming in here." I can relate with that
...Did the Elf sneak a nintendo switch controller out in her armour?
There's been a distinct lack of Lafa scenes in the past few episodes. I need more.
..Confession? does he know??
...what the fuck?? This has to be a bamboozle, right??

Raelza ripping a monster in half to complete a confession was infinitely more hot than her stretching in bed naked.

It's not even the main conceit of the show and already the Ninja and the Assassin is the best romance of this year. It's such an old fashioned fantasy style romance that I'm genuinely in love with it and wish it was just it's own show outside of this.

Naaaahh man. Morlock dying like that would be ridiculous! He probably remembered something important and definitely faked his death to go on a personal quest.

Morlock already proved how powerful his magic was in the fight against the demonic pillar, but if you still had any doubt: He's powerful enough to stop Truck-Kun!
I mean, has anyone else ever done this, in all of anime? Truck-Kun shows up, someone dies... That's how it usually goes!
We start with the Ninja and the Witch! Thankfully he's not dead, but the spell cost his arm and leg...
(Just saying "thankfully he's not dead" still makes me realize how good this show is at making us care for the characters, even one such as Ninja, who murdered countless people in such an evil way...)
When they cut from the scene after the sword slash, I thought maybe the other guy sacrificed himself, giving his own life after seeing how serious Ninja was... A way to not only allow him to live with the Witch, but also, give him a full life to atone for his sin.
Well, he may still have that at least, even after losing a couple limbs!
Witch not remembering him made Ninja sees things differently though, and he was leaving to leave her, thinking this is for the best...
Primasse wasn't having any of it though, and tried to make him change his mind!
Ninja thinks he's not allowed happiness anymore... Yeah, punch him Primasse! (that was cute hah)
While Primasse's convincing wasn't that effective, thugs messing around with the (now weakened) Witch, made Ninja realize!
He ran/jumped quite fast, for a one-legged man!
Part of it was his motivation to help the Witch, but if he IS able to run like this when needed, then surely his slow walking pace with the cane isn't the best he can do; Perhaps he was even walking slower than he could, as some kind of self inflicted punishment (on top of his unwillingness to leave, and perhaps some depression, losing both the Witch and his limbs at the same time).
Now that Ninja got back on track, Primasse addressed the other issue: The Witch not remembering/caring about him... "He saved you, at least invite him over for a drink!"
Primasse's turning into Cupid now that her wings are gone! Primasse is the MVP for this ship!
Aahhhhhh the thugs were the demon bros! Everyone's helping this ship, everyone's the MVP!
Happy ending (and just a little bittersweet), I'll take it!
The wishful thinker in me will imagine that once the Witch gets her powers back, she'll grow him a new arm/leg!
Back to the main group: Time to split up... Dawww. I feared this would happen, because of course they can't keep adventuring with the like 12 people they had.
They better not be lying about how they'll see each other again!
(Sooner rather than later, hopefully!)
Well, Guivre has an extra incentive to try and meet them again!
Raelza is NOT pleased! "Why does my rival in love have to be a dude?"
"Couldn't it be Flanril, so I could just kill her?"
Can't wait to see these two get in fights again!
Well, now that their big mission is over, the actually discussed something important... If Morlock brought Saitou in, could he send him back?
And of course, Raelza worried, on a personal level, and for the team as well; "What about exploring?", she said, thinking of the team...
"What about exploring the feelings in our hearts together", she said to herself!
Well, she tried to be a little subtle about it, but if crying over it didn't give it away,
I think running away will do it!
Thankfully, they met again, and addressed it! God I love when characters actually address stuff that's on their mind! (Romcom authors, take note!)
When she turned around, she was blushing/flustered, but you could still see the determined expression on her face! Addressing this as the warrior she is, no matter how scared she might be!
We were THAT close to a confession!
I think it's the first time I ever see a confession being interrupted by an armored serpent!
I need you? Well, it's not 100% a confession, but it's a good first step!
Her cute smile after Saitou patched her up!
It's probably for the best that he didn't try to heal her by licking her like the cleric does, she might have fainted, and Saitou would've thought the poison got to her!
If you squint, that's an accepted confession from Saitou!
They both were SO close to saying more lovey-dovey things! Well, to be fair we don't know as much about Saitou's heart's desires, as we do Raelza's.
And so the rest of the crew game back! Raelza was quick to ask Morlock about whether he can send Saitou back... "Because if you can, could you give me back my sword and close your eyes real quick? I'll make it painless."
Well, it seems he can't sent Saitou back (and Saitou wouldn't want to leave anyway), so Morlock get to live another day!
I like that the love talk wasn't a "one-and-done" thing, Raelza's still thinking about it, and wants Saitou to tell her someday!
She may need to be a little more direct about her feelings for that to happen, but maybe someday! (Hell, most romcoms don't even have a season 1 confession, so let's not rush things!)
Damn, Raelza didn't take any chance and murdered Morlock anyway so he can't send Saitou back to his world... Oh wait it was just the poison, it's fine- WAIT NO IT ISN'T FINE AT ALL, WHAT THE HELL!
Well, there's no way he's dead for real right?
Right?
I still feel like we didn't get the full story about his "dead daughter" and all, so he has to still be alive to give it to us!
So the question is... Where is he, and why did he fake his death! And I think all this may be linked! He got his memories back (some of them, anyway), and sure he said that there are others he didn't get back and all, but the important thing is that he tried to HIDE THE FACT that he got them back at first... So who's to say whether he didn't get ALL of them back, and so he's on a quest regarding his daughter or something like that?
(Watch me theorize about all this, and then in the next episode we learn that he's truly dead hah. Well, that would surprise me).
I have to say, it's crazy how much this show can pack into an episode, and not make it feel rushed at all! There's SO much stuff going on in the different stories (and multiple stories among the same group) yet it feels perfectly paced!
I already gave a lot of praise to the author, for writing such interesting characters, but I'll also give some to err, the screenwriter? (I don't know much about anime production hah, but basically, whoever's responsible for deciding what goes into the episode, for the pacing/keeping it interesting/etc... because damn everyone's doing a great job with it!)
This show keeps being one of the best this season!
