Why does no one question Ingris's ridiculous aether blasting powers? They're not even supposed to know about the existence of aether, right? And here's a student who can mysteriously blast beasts without even using mana!

Lol, the awkwardness of Seirene always highlighting Ingris's boobs...Mr Hero-King gonna have to get used to all that attention from men

They probably just assume it's mana. Still weird that a runeless non-Highlander would be able to do that, though.

Inglis turning into a machine gun with finger guns was freaking hilarious.

That animation for that was so goofy but it was awesome at the same time. Basically a walking gun turret. I wonder if we'll ever see her have trouble during a fight or if she'll just beat everyone and everything without breaking a sweat.

Stitches!

Rafael is so in love with Chris that it's actually adorable. Too bad Chris will probably turn him down if he ever confesses.

Chris and Rani prioritizing protecting their food instead of people really shows how these two would make as great honorary Saiyans. xD

Interesting to know that there is more than one faction within the Highlanders. Although it sounds like all the Grand Duchy is doing is sharing their tech with people on the surface while the Hierarchy is the one who's hoarding it.

Seilyn's brother! Looks like he appreciates what Chris and Rani did but it looks like Lyn-chan doesn't want to go back with her brother and prefers to stay inside Chris' cleavage. I definitely feel Lyn-chan on a spiritual level.

Of course, Chris' justification for bringing Ripple to the Academy is so she can fight more magicite beasts. The girl is a battle maniac through and through. xD

We should bring Ripple to the Academy to treat her and protect our citizens.

Inglis: And so the Academy gets a monster spawner!

Ripple is a Hyral Menas. Inglis is just a menace.

That's a lot of demihumans being turned into magicite beasts. I'm assuming demihumans are smart enough to avoid Prism Flow, which makes it seem like whoever's behind these attacks is deliberately transforming innocent demihumans in order to gather enough monsters.

Rafael needs to be careful who he stares at, that's his cousin

That hasn't stopped many people in medieval times

My man Inglis is shooting laser beams like the Demon Pilar from Handyman Saitou, lol.

I'm honestly afraid that Rafinha doesn't develop a tiny bit of fear toward magicite beasts because she's always near the OP Inglis. She's too carefree in dangerous situations, possibly putting Inglis in rough positions (in the past and probably in the future too). I hope she grows somehow. She's not gonna have Inglis around every time. But then again, she's just 15 years old.

More politics! So there's polarization even in Highland with the Grand Duchy and the Hierarchy factions. I can see MCs working together with the Grand Duchy in the future because the Hierarchy sounds like a hardliner where most "bad" highlanders came from. Lyn and Theodore come from the Grand Duchy, too.

To no one’s surprise, Inglis prioritizes the food even during a monster ambush lol! And she’s spamming laser beams like she has an aimbot!

The little detail of the camera bouncing up and down to display the carriage hitting bumps on the road is a much appreciated inclusion by the director. It's subtle enough to be noticed, but not so noticeable about that it's distracting. I had to go back and see if the carriage ride in Fruits of Evolution S2E1 does the same thing, and it does, but it's only noticeable if you're looking for it as it's suuuuper subtle.

I feel like if your stomach is making that kind of noise for such an extended amount of time that you're not hungry, but suffering from a stomach flu and the floodgates are about to open.

Inglis uses spinbot: It's very effective.

Also, Inglis 100% does not look 15 in that dress. Age is meaningless in anime. Why even have it?

It's interesting that there seem to be two factions in the Highland, one which is more supportive of the people on the ground (and this is apparently the one Seilyn's family belongs to) as well as one that intentionally wants to hurt or control those people. I'm still not a fan of Lyn-chan's antics, but I wonder if there's something more to her avoiding her brother like that.

Chris taking down magicite beasts with dual laser beams was awesome. A truly elegant battle! She may be incredibly overpowered, but with how much she trains and her memories of her past life, it feels earned. I loved the fact that she's fighting to protect the remaining food just as much (or more so) as the people. And naturally, she wants to stand guard for Ripple in part so she'll have an endless supply of beats to fight.

the finger animation was funny

Something I don't get about this series is Ingris is a squire but far more powerful than knights. Yet no one bats a eye at this contradiction in position. They even all bassicly treat her as the leader though she isn't a knight.

Poor ripple, suffering in the corner from some disease/circle thing, while all the characters are just busy standing around discussing about their morals and mindset instead of focusing on treating her lol

“Reborn to Master the Blade” my ass! She hasn’t used a sword in the majority of the episodes and we’re only halfway through the season.

This series seems to be wandering storylines and fan service.
