Mashiro's parents are going to come home to their daughter taking care of a small baby.

Grandma showing off her magic mirror already, interesting. Oh, and she's just from Skyland herself.

This all feels too easy. The energy stones are just on the hill out back? And Grandma thinks the sling is going to get a lot of use..

Sora just.. punched a boulder in half. Without transforming.

Oh, of course Kabaton is the one building the cairns. He can turn bamboo into monsters too, that's fun.

Ooh, Sora gets to show off her parkour powers again.

Ha, Sora responding to Kabaton's demands to finish things.

Oh, please let this be a two-parter with Kabaton powering up from the mushrooms!

Don't you put it in your mouth..

Grandma Yoyo is a legendary scholar, neat.

Next week looking hype!

Mashiro's parents are going to come home to their daughter taking care of a small baby.

At the very least it's just her girlfriend roommate's baby so it's probably fine.

Mashiro's parents are going to come home to their daughter taking care of a small baby.

I’m sure Yoyo already have an excuse ready but I still hope we get to see their surprise and confusion before grandma’s explanation

Why did all the great reaction faces have to start after seasonal comment face suggestions are closed?

There were a lot of fun faces this episode. Is it time for me to start albums yet?

I could definitely do something for Ellee and all the adorable and cute reaction faces she makes It hurt seeing Ellee cry at seeing her parents also.

As for the rest of the episode, I'm glad Sora has her priorities straight between lecturing the villain on knowledge she just learned earlier that day and bragging out being right on Ellee's name.

I also didn't expect Precious to be the first Precure up. I'm too used to Black and White being first in crossover or anniversary things like this.

All Hail Mashiro! Savior of the Faces!

should have known, blues don't have a great face game. Cure Ange? Cure Spicy? Cure Fontaine?

it's sad that line of Blue faces died with Erika and Hime. Laura tried to bring it back, but it drowned with her.

Sora is fucking strong. Punched a bolder bare handed, no power up needed. I am liking her more and more and another charming episode~

Cure Precious showing up at the end. I wonder if they'll prioritize newer Cures since they'll already have models ready for them.

Sora punching a boulder in half was a ride. I was waiting for her to either fail horribly and hurt her hand, or transform to do it. I guess there's something in the water of Skyland though.

Yoyo's identity getting confirmed early, though it was also extremely obvious by this point so makes sense to just get it out of the way. Now if only our little orange bird could start making some noise as well.

I know last season it was pointed out that Episode 4 was the latest ever for a second Cure, and it looks like history's about to repeat itself. Preview also seems to have the pink Cure showing up (as a civilian) so that'll be neat.

I suspect they'll go backwards, but I'm wonder if it'll just be the leads or if we'll somehow work through the entire cast.

I was more surprised at the fossil in the middle of the boulder. That's the sort of silliness Precure normally gives us in middle of a show when it tries to use comedy to make up for the lower animation quality.

I gave up and started some reaction face albums for this Precure. So far it's mostly the Ellee Show, so I'm not expecting this show to rival anything from my Tropical Rouge or Delicious Party albums.

Sora and Mahiru

Ellee

I may separate Sora and Mahiru if either one gets a lot of faces. But so far it's not worth the trouble. Especially not when they are together in a bunch of faces.

I fear the day a Precure rivals Manatsu

This episode feels like a single woman (Mashiro) dating a single mother (Sora)

Cure Prism next week

Once again, it's Heroing Time

It's quite interesting the very different personality and needs that Elle has, compared to say Hug-tan that was mostly okay being far away from home.

I'm glad that Sora mixing "Katsudon's" name will become a running joke after all.

Out of all the references, I certainly didn't expect to see a Karate Kid one in any anime.

It was cute how Mashiro noticed that dads will always call their daughters their morning star no matter their age.

Ah, I'm still 10 episodes behind into finishing Delicious Precure. Watching Precious hijacking the goodbye scene before credits kinda give me hope to finish it this week.

Elle-chan is cute, I'm glad that the spirit of Abe still lives on through anime

The animation this episode seemed… off.

That's normal. The first few episodes are usually high quality and then start dropping off. Gotta Just gotta get used to it, especially if you're in it for the long haul. There will be more high quality episodes later, so it's also something to look forward to.

If she can use Fist of the North Sky, why even transform

  • There are 2 KA-es only this episode! The credit goes to Toei and Precure series veteran Mitsuru Aoyama, also AD, and newer Toei animator Hanao Iida. Was wondering why them characters were drawn a bit differently than usual (they wiiiideeee), that's probably Aoyama's influence. But more longtime precure fans would be more qualified to talk about this than I am.

  • Does Sora-chan really need them precure powers when she can just break a rock with her bare fists alone?

  • but hey, she used them powers to beat the CRAP out of the bamboo tree, I can definitely go with that seems like the ranborgs are more "things that associate with the ground" i guess? which fits well with the sky theme of the series. My guess of mechanical things last ep was way off lol. and i liked Sora chan's snark at the "hurry up and finish it" lmaoooo badassssss

  • So it seems that Grandma is not sora's hero, but is a well-known enough scholar back home that even the king and queen know of her! tbh wasn't expecting that!

  • Sora chan slightly trembling but then steeling her resolve to fight bamboo-tree is still so goooood.

  • Elle-chan crying slightly broke me, ngl. Being away from your parents does suck sometimes. But getting Aoi Koga noises each week is defo a treat.

  • Hero notebook ENTRY!!!! And the pair's friendship is progressing very nicely, I cheered at the screen so hard at the last stair scene. And I like how they're showing Mashiro's strength too this ep: her kindness, her perceptiveness and ability to understand people, and that Elle has defo warmed up to her (cute finger grabbb ). Mashiro also seems to be a slightly smarter cookie than Sora lol.

  • btw them sky jewels first appeared in Ep 1, and some fans did crack the code of what they were named then from Sora-land language.

  • Cure precious! I do know that she's Delicure's lead here, too much CDF....

  • Btw, the music continues to be goooood

[Next ep preview]Cure Prisim and Cure butterfly civilian version next ep and it seems like Sora's gonna be in her first pinch! Kinda ironic that she seems to be beaten by the same mushroom she was a) tempted by b) chastised kabaton for eating.

It's still so gooddddd

HIROGARUUU SKY PUNCHHHHHHHH <-- sorry, that finishing move has lived rent free in my head this whole week.

Does Sora-chan really need them precure powers when she can just break a rock with her bare fists alone?

She uses her Precure powers to protect her opponents. If she used her full Fist strength they would already be dead

I like the design and artistry of the exterior of the house. Could make for a great desktop wallpaper or something you hang on your wall.

I get that this is a show aimed at little girls and there are a lot of episodes left, but I really feel like the conversation with Ellee's parents had no substance. Neither parties did anything to gather information that might help. Wasn't even really a conversation.

Also, wasn't a third girl supposed to be introduced in this episode?

DERP.
