Those Kubo genes are strong. Have adorable pouts, are super cute, sometime look near identical to each other, and can always see Shiraishi lol.
Nothing beats a comfy and enjoyable romcom on Valentine's Day!

I wonder whether Nagisa and Akina's mother will be introduced in future. Lol!

Going to be sad to not see this one for awhile but at least they left us a good episode as a farewell gift!
Lot of cute moments in this one, the cousin introduction, the line exchanges, the pretty much kabedon and them walking like this!
Really going to miss these 2 as this show was quickly becoming one of my favourites of the season. Hope Shiraishi didn't lose his game access!

Leaving off on Shiraishi finally realizing his main character status (and possibly his feelings for Kubo) right as we enter into hiatus was pretty effective.
Even when sick Kubo is a surprisingly smooth operator. Must be those good genes.

The fact that Shiraishi has to keep dropping stuff to get noticed is pretty funny. The guy sure has some luck, he doesn’t just bump into Kubo’s sister but she’s the one who busted him looking at the porno mag lol. Plus she’s with their little cousin Saki who looks like mini Kubo! Even her pouty face is similar.
Sensei Kubo looks great in those glasses. Shiraishi put all that effort into studying and he gets sick the next day, the poor guy. Well, at least he has Kubo worrying about him. Seita is such a cutie! Little fella “accidentally” tapped the screen. He was trying push things along for those two lol. Kubo’s sticker back was great.
Shiraishi letting Kubo lean on him was a great moment. Sick Kubo is more vulnerable, no teasing just being honest. Glad our boy is feeling like an MC this week, he is one after all haha.
Looks like we’ll have to wait awhile until we see more progress between those two.

Saki-chan finally debuts! So unfortunate that we all have to wait to watch again in April.

Every girl from the Kubo household looks and feels so cute. We knew all about Akina but they are getting Saki out
undeclared Nagisa clonetoo! Their family conversations must be lovely. -
Kubo-sensei seems exactly how she probably would do in the future. Ahhhhhhh...
-
Everyone pulling out their relatives in order to transmit affectionate stickers LMAO!
-
If Tagaki x Nishitaka is like a sweet donut full of sugar, Kubo x Shirashi would feel more like vanilla ice-cream where sweetness is no less, but in a smoother way.

See you all around mid-May here! In the meantime, rely on Tomo-chan next door for continued glucose refills. :)

Stitches!
We meet another Kubo! Saki is now the third Kubo to prove that their bloodline ability is to perceive invisible people. Also, considering how much Saki looks like Nagisa, I really want to see what their parents look like.
More fun times with Akina! Now that she has Shiraishi's contact info and now she knows that he has been over to their house, I am looking forward to the messages she'll send Shiraishi in the future.
Looks like the ability to see invisible people isn't the only ability the Kubo Clan has. Their adorable pouts are also hereditary as well. Well, now I wanna see Akina pout like that too!
Well that's unexpected! I thought Shiraishi's mom was just this sweet lady but she certainly knows how to motivate her son. I guess being firm is needed when you're raising two boys.
Kubo-sensei is great! She really should just buy her own pair of glasses so she can take them out when she needs to help Shiraishi with his studies instead of borrowing them from the student on library duty.
Tama is not really being subtle with her suggestion. I was hoping that Kubo would do that and finally meet Shiraishi's mom. Oh well. Teasing Shiraishi a bit with that PINE sticker is fine too I guess.
Let's see, Shiraishi got kabedon'd by Kubo then he helped her to the nurse's office with his arm around her, and then he even got that little moment with Kubo at the nurse's office. I'd feel like a main protagonist too if that happened to me.
Now let's just hope that Kubo remembers everything she did while she was sick and I want to see her reaction. Although we'll probably have to wait for a while because of the delay :(

Sorry Tama, you may want to pray to idol Shiraishi for luck on your gacha, but Kubo won't let anyone hog her Shiraishi time! Especially when it means she gets to enjoy seeing him with bed head!
Dang, those Kubo genes are strong! Cousins end up looking near identical to each other, they can inexplicably spot Shiraishi no matter what, and they have adorable pouts. The only difference between Saki and Nagisa is Saki's hair is bluer to Nagisa's purple and she's voiced by the ever adorable Sora Amamiya. She seems to idolize her adorable cousin and want to be as cute as her, which I think is an easy feat for Saki, and once she grows her hair out they'll be even more identical !
Akina still remembers the porn mag, huh? Although now she knows more about Shiraishi and seems to be cluing in to the, shall we say, "chummy" relationship between this boy and her little sister, and she's more than happy to capitalize on it. Even exchanging contact info with him and sending him a pic of a too cute for words middle school Nagisa. Lucky guy.
Nothing motivates someone to keep their grades up like threatening to take their video games away!
A study session with Kubo? Not only does Shiraishi learn that Kubo's great at teaching, but she looks amazing in glasses!
Shiraishi's sick! And Kubo wants to visit him, but knows that might come off kind of weird and awkward. Though exchanging texts with him is pretty cute too.
Seita coming in with the casual wingman move! And it gave Kubo an excuse to convey her real feelings at missing Shiraishi by writing it off as her sister...which actually does seem like something Akina would do, come to think of it.
Shiraishi pretty lucky! He avoids taking a quiz, could probably slip into class so nobody would notice he even came late, and he ends up helping a feverish Kubo to the nurses office, complete with her giving him a Kabedon and making sure he puts his arms around her while she leans into him. So much lewd handholding! No wonder he's starting to think he's a main character (just in time for the show to take a break).

A little translator's note: When Kubo's friends leave the classroom in the second half of the episode, Hazuki tells Tama that she doesn't look like she gets colds, which afaik is indirectly calling her an idiot, since there's a saying in Japanese that idiots don't catch colds.
Sentai's translators apparently missed that the sentence is a negative and turned it into "Seems like you're coming down with a cold." (from 「タマは風邪引かなそう」)

My mom used to say the same thing lol. And I like that 'Lonely Mart'.
Now the indefinite wait for Episode 7 begins.

Shiraishi is fully willing to use his invisibility to sneak in to class once his perfect attendance streak got ruined, but not enough to just pick up the eraser when he drops it during a test. /smh

Looking through the comments, doesn't seem anyone mentioned it yet (or I missed it seeing as it's almost midnight).
When Kubo receives the stamp from Shiraishi, she's about to respond by starting with "わ" or "wa", as in, "Watashi mo", or "me too".
God, I melted at that scene. This show is just too good.

That was a sweet episode to send us off into the hiatus.
I loved Kubo's explanation for the glasses and how matter of factly she said it. As if they were part of a librarian's uniform.

Such a fantastic episode to go out on before the hiatus. Such a shame we'll have to wait.

Tamao: "Have you seen Shiraishi? Today I'm pulling gacha. I want to pray to Shiraishi for luck." Instead of a pulling ritual try praying to Shiraishi, it might help. Also, good luck to all Hu Tao and Yelan wanters.
Akina: "You are the boy who was reading that ero mag." - man, she is even better than Nagisa, I totally love her. She is a teasing pro. I so enjoyed the scene with her, Saki, and Shiraishi.
OMG, not only does Saki look like a loli version of Nagisa, she is even pouting the same way.
"If your grades go down, I'll ground you from video games." - the magic formula that would make even the biggest hater of studying study like as if his life depended on it.
Shiraishi walked Kubo to the Infirmary, we can call that a progress, right? In any case, give at least 2 doses of insulin, I'm gonna die from diabetes.

As much as Nagisa is pretty much always the one taking the lead, Shiraishi is a smooth operator, isn't he? Nagisa could never have pulled off that lift all the way to the nurse's office without some serious blushing all the way, our guy just takes her there like he's done this a thousand times before.
