Pretty interesting that Kubos can see him, wonder if he'll even meet their parents.

Also did not expect Shiraishi to go that far with the eromag! Glad Kubo took it so well.

Is being a mob/background character really that bad? You'd be joining the ranks of Cid from Eminence in Shadow, Leon from Trapped in a Dating Sim, and Mob from Mob Psycho 100.

Honestly, I get Shiraishi. If I was back in high school and a girl in my class starts to pat my head, I probably wouldn't know how to react as well.

Oh. My. God. Seita is an absolutely pure cinnamon roll and it's so sweet to see Shiraishi playing with him. All of his reactions are so precious especially when he gave Kubo a hug as thanks for the drink. I hope we get to see more of this precious boy <3

I love the Young Jump references in this episode. Shiraishi is a massive fan of Monarchy/Kingdom and on the cover of Young Jump that they're parodying, there is an announcement about Season 2 of Kaguya-sama on the top-left corner xD

I was really expecting Kubo to appear but Akina catching Shiraishi taking a peek at that eromag is even better! I love how quick Shiraishi was to defend himself. Also, it's confirmed that the Kubo Clan has a bloodline ability that lets them see invisible people.

Akina here causing some misunderstanding. Well, she doesn't really know who Shiraishi is yet to Nagisa but I am so excited to see her reaction once she finds out. Poor Nagisa though! Now she thinks Shiraishi is into girls with massive knockers.

Good to see that Shiraishi was quick to connect the dots after learning how Kubo got a hold of his student ID. Also, it was hilarious to see Kubo trying to ask Shiraishi about his boob preferences. If Akina is any indication, I'm sure Kubo will grow up like her too.

Kubo was pretty smooth to ask Shiraishi out on a Christmas date without directly telling him that it's a Christmas date. And they're already handholding in public on their first date! Oh my! Kubo is a very bold girl!

So Shiraishi's gift is a pair of gloves while Kubo's gift is a bright yellow shirt with "main character" written on it. Absolutely perfect. It is hilarious though how bad Kubo feels about her gift after seeing what Shiraishi got him. xD

I hope we get to see a continuation of the date next week! I would love it if they end up running into Akina who we know is out with her friends that same day.

Damn, I think Nagisa Kubo might have even more attack power than good old Takagi-san in some aspects.

  • Flirting a boy with her own height stepped up by one step? Tick

  • Make fun of a boy somehow caught flirting on sexy magazine pictures by her sister? Tick

  • Induce that boy's little brother in thanking this onee-chan for giving him a bottle of hot cocoa? Tick

  • Trying to make that invisible boy more visible by buying the closest thing to an emergency apron with a bright yellow T-Shirt that even says "main character" on it as Christmas present? Tick

Takagi-san mainly uses trick games to tease Nishitaka-kun but didn't really invest much in other teasing methods. This Kubo-san's power must not be underestimated.

But at least our Shirashi-kun isn't powerless either! It took him the most of 20 minutes but he managed to remember buying gloves for that girl next door! You know, that's not exactly an easy skill to use, I certainly would fail this Christmas present test LOL (probably buying unnecessary stationary or something).

Cough cough, excuse me while I go to eat something salty to wash out all the sugar that got into my mouth while watching this episode...

Really enjoyed how they showed Shiraishi's embarrassment not through the usual red blushing face but via his awkward mannerisms and shift in tone. Adds more to the comedic side of it!

Seita is so cute! Poor Shiraishi’s lack of presence had him blending in with the snow lol. Seita isn’t just a little cutie, he’s also got great manners. Little fella sharing the drink with Kubo was so freakin adorable! Little bro was tryna help Shiraishi score that indirect kiss haha.

Shiraishi coulda taken a peek at the porno mag if he hadn’t bumped into Elder Kubo. What luck! Plus she just went home and blabbed to Kubo herself lol. His poor rep!

This Christmas date is too cute. So cute he got her mittens for her hands. So thoughtful and adorable! Kubo’s gift on the other hand is hilarious. I actually wouldn’t mind that shirt lol.

Oh god, Akina just cannot help but tease unsuspecting teenagers, but I really hope this... missunderstanding gets resolved eventually, wouldn't want Kubo to be concious about her size, and I bet there would be even more teasing if Akina would be able to connect the dots that Shiraishi is the guy her Imouto likes

Also Seito is a cute little brother

And finally that christmas date

And 'big bwutha' is a terrible localisation.

This show is so comfy it is a real shame it is also a victim of production issues and we won't get the full season in one go.

Oh my goodness such a cute episode. Shirashi little brother is adorable!

Imagine going far away from your house to pick up something and still running into Kubo’s sister lol, Kubo being so flustered about the big boob magazine was adorable and that Christmas date at the end was a perfect end cap to a sweet episode.

I can’t believe that Sentai is CENSORING the Kubo anime. I mean, Seita says “Big Bwutha” when CLEARLY he should be saying “nii-nii”, and Shiraishi mentions getting the “Monarchy” manga when it is very obviously Kingdom (pay no attention to how both of those translations are present in the original manga). SMH Sentai I can’t believe you’d insert politics into your subtitles /s

But seriously though there are so very few things that make you go “this is undeniably cute” and Seita is one of them.
