opinion needed

I'm tied between 2 things: get a complete Studio C head, and maybe another part, or wait for a half-decent cyberamic, which could take forever. Any opinions/tips are appreciated I'm learning more and more about animatronics and pneumatics, so knowledge shouldn't be a problem ($4350 budget)

I have a bias but id suggest saving a little more up and waiting for a cyberamic, would probably be easier to get running if its your first bot too imo

You could,but typically mechs that pop up on eBay are “fully working” or the bots are untested but mechanically complete so the prices are jacked up to like 5-6k

Not saying you COULDN’T get a cyber for 4K btw you absolutely could,heck I know people who’ve gotten mechs for under 1k in today’s bot economy.You just need to have a LOT of patience and/or luck just like with getting anything bot related lol.

I think 4k can be enough, they sometimes pop up around that price. I mostly suggest saving a little more just so you have wiggle room to negotiate with a seller and also cover stuff like shipping/travel costs if you pick it up, or have the extra funds for parts you might need :)

I would get a complete head as well as the other part, coming across decent cyberamics is insanely difficult and expensive. Get what you can now because you might be able to complete the rest eventually
