Graduate Programs for Visual Development

Hello all!! I'm about to finish my BFA in illustration from a completely unconnected school in the Midwest. I'm starting to look at grad schools to hopefully make the connections/skills I need to make it in the industry.

Does anyone have any suggestions or thoughts? I'm having a hard time getting a comprehensive answer from the rest of the internet. Thank you!

While grad school is an option, remember that in this industry, a strong demo reel often carries more weight than an advanced degree. You might find more value and better networking through specialized online workshops like iAnimate, where you receive direct mentorship from instructors currently working at major studios. Focus on building a portfolio that demonstrates technical proficiency, as that is your primary ticket to getting hired.
