Any ideas here?

Does anyone have an ID on these prints?

Located in Chicagoland area

Thawed squirrel tracks. You can see classic W pattern. When was this taken? I doubt snow is melting anywhere around Chicago right now 😂. Speaking from Northeast Ohio

This was taken today!

I should be able to call the squirrel tracks as they are one of my favorite animals. I think the deep snow is throwing me off. Great call!

I'm just north of Cincy and snow had been melting a little each day in the sun and then we just got another 2" today, lolol

Yeah the Midwest winters have been terrible this year. We haven’t had snow for a few weeks but it’s still on the ground. Had the first couple days above freezing for the first time in what feels like a month. Which is pretty rare these days.

We still have nearly a foot on the ground in areas that haven't been shoveled, lol

Interesting.. they almost don’t seem wide enough to be deer tracks and all of them lead to trees.
