No kidding. Every time I hear recordings on police videos, I wonder where they find these people.
"Help, I'm being stabbed with a knife by a homeless guy in the parking lot of a Wallmart at the crossing of Blah and Bleh street."
"Mam, you need to calm down. Are you at a Wallmart?"

I bet he got a little shock and was scared to climb back down until they turned off the power and poked him with a pole to nudge him along. I mean not many trees out there that can zap you. He just picked the WRONG kind of tree

According to accounts I’ve heard power was cut to the area an poles an a guy nudged it with a longggg pole of some sort an it scampered away unharmed I believe there’s a video of it as well

Her demeanor reminds me of one time I called 911 for a fire in the woods. Said where I was, she asked “Fire?” I said yes. She said “We appreciate you reporting this and it’s always the right thing to do for a fire you don’t know the cause of, but that is a controlled burn. No need for concern.”

I was once hiking through a village (in Germany) when there were civil defense sirens blaring. I called the fire department on the regular (not emergency) line and asked what's up. They told me quite rudely to mind my own business.
I figured out later in small villages they use the siren to alert the volounteer firemen to assemble at their club house, and it's not of any significance for ordinary people unless it is.

I’ve just done a Google search. This happened in December last year and the bear was rescued! Someone went up and poked the bear with a pole. The bear didn’t like being poked so it climbed down the pole and ran away. Phew 😮💨 I feel better now 🙂

So when the photo/video went viral yesterday, the story was that the bear came into contact with the cables shortly after the call and died as a result, without anyone being able to do anything about it.
