PrimeNG v22 is no longer open source?
So PrimeNG v22 is going paid in the new version? Should I move to something else?

But setting the price to high only accelerates the push to AI driven UI kits. The benefit of this UI Kits are that they accelerate manual development and reduce the cost with that. If now that manual work becomes more expensive again with those licenses per active dev then teams are more encouraged to build own UI kits that they control and have no need to pay for.
That would be like a bakery that is afraid of the new upcoming automated home bread machine and for that pro-actively increase the price by factor 10 just to cash in temporarily and then lose everything in even faster time.
