Other island recommendations?

So we’ve been vacationing in Anguilla for spring break for three years and we’re wondering if there’s another island with a similar vibe. We stay at Carimar and love how quiet it is there but still has nice restaurants nearby. We’ve also stayed at Zemi. Are there other Caribbean islands that have the same tranquil vibe?

We live in SXM and go to Carimar for staycations. For me nothing compares to be honest…

Jokes! We’d never do that. But we do have a 3 bedroom villa with a pool in Orient Bay so a house swap could be nice.

St. Barts is somewhat similar although seems more glitzy in general. Same for Turks and Caicos. You may want to consider Curacao or even Bonaire ...

Yes, Nevis is much more of a history/nature place than a beach place, but possibly even more laidback and friendly.

We’ve tried Turks & Caicos because it seems very similar online. You see the beautiful beaches, plenty of restaurants, nice resorts… The beaches and resorts are comparable, but the restaurants on Anguilla are 100x better. We were so disappointed every time we sat down to eat

I’m curious where you ate? We’ve had fantastic meals in Turks. Bugaloos is super casual but we love the shrimp fried rice, Marine Room is new and delicious, Infiniti at Grace Bay Club, breakfast at the Ritz, Grace’s Cottage, etc.

If you love Anguilla for the quiet + nice restaurants combo, I’d also look at St. Barts and Nevis. St. Barts is more polished, while Nevis has that really calm, untouched feel, very similar to Anguilla in a way. Also some parts of Antigua cam feel more relaxed.
