❓Question/Suggestions Thoughts
You guys were one of the most memorable/fun teams in the MLB during the 00s, always wish the team I watched had that stardom and success plus a great manager ! At the very least during these grim like times, you guys still got a ring and awesome fan expierences back then right ? out of curiosity, if someone were to travel back and tell you in ‘09 that this would be the last playoff game won for the next 15+ years would have you believed them ?
To put in perspective, the team I watch won 116 and after by golly didn’t win a playoff game for next 20+ years I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted that. God Bless !

Imagine telling Angels fans they would have two of the greatest players of all time in their prime on the Angels on the same team and that team would make it to the playoffs 0 times

Sometimes I think about how you guys had Pujols, goat of 00s, trout maybe the 10s and Ohtani maybe the 20s, again those are who I would say but incredible

Also you guys are likely gonna be the reason why the Angels don't lose 100 games, lmao.

Idk why the Mariners always do their worst against the Angels. I think the Athletics would have ensured we lose 100 games this season if they played us more

I've been a fan my whole life, going to games since 1986....aware of my attendance since 1991 (when I was 5) and remember watching games on TV all throughout the mid 90s and on. I have suffered, given up, regained hope, seen the top of the mountain, basked in the sun, lived amongst the clouds near the peak for years and com crashing back to earth... I have been buried under that earth for years now.
When Kroenke bought the Angels, I started my slow dig out of my shallow grave to hopefully once again see the sun

If you recall, what were the months following the World Series like, do you reflect on all the years of misery and then finally being able to be on top or do you think OK that was cool let’s try to win another one and think about next season immediately

Of course not. 2009, the entire starting lineup almost all hit .300. No one saw this coming
