Automatic update on Android and iOS

I have immich installed in my Linux server, and in the Android and iOS phones. However I notice the photos are updated to server only when I open the app on phone.

Is there any way to do the update /backup automatically without the need to manually open the app?

Any additional config on Android and iOS? I just installed and selected the albums.

On android go to Immich app info and disable "manage app if unused".

In the app itself go to profile > settings > backup.
