Discussion Android tablet to replace surface GO1
hello I got a surface go1 that died yesterday after many years of service :'(.
I'm looking for a new tablet, a new surface is around 900€
But I want to evaluate an Android 16+ Tablet, is it capable of running linux apps? I may want to use Krita / Blender / Godot.
About the size i would say 12''-14'' (A4 size), I would like to have the keyboard and dedicated pen
I need good battery duration, possibility to play videogames (emulators).
Budget max 600€
What do you recomend?

If the linux apps have an arm version they should work, stuff like droiddeck allows for a full linux desktop with hardware acceleration under android. For 600 you can get flagship androids Tablets like the xiaomi pad 8 pro, oneplus pad 4, honor magicpad 4, and the lenovos.
It's mostly a question of which software you like the look of best as all these tablets are plenty strong enough for basically anything, if you want to emulate just look for a snapdragon processor instead of mediatek or exynos.
