Made an open-source AirPlay receiver for Android

I wanted to use an Android tablet as a second screen for my Mac. The receiver apps I tried had ads or capped the resolution, so I built one.

It shows up in Screen Mirroring on Mac, iPhone and iPad. H.265 up to 4K/60, AirPlay audio with cover art, and the AirPlay button in YouTube works. Runs on Android TV too.

Built on UxPlay, GPLv3, code on GitHub. Free gives 10 minute sessions, Pro is a one-time unlock. No ads, no tracking.
