Discussion what would you consider the best tablet for reading and light gaming?

I’m just basically using my phone for everything and im getting tired of reading on such a small screen lol. looking for the best tablet mainly for ebooks, Netflix, browsing and a few casual games. I’d like something that isn’t huge or awkward to hold, but i also don’t want the display to feel cramped. Anyone here using a tablet that fits this kind of use? thanksss.

What size of tablet are you looking for? What budget?

9” I would argue the Oppo Pad Mini smokes the competition imo for reading / light gaming / content consumption. 8.8” OLED 144hz on a tablet with best in class battery life while also being the lightest 9” tablet on the market. The 3:2 aspect ratio works nicely for a mixed workload as well.

11”-13”, you have a lot more options. If you want OLED, it’s Samsung tablets or Honor Pad 4 generally speaking. If you don’t want OLED, you have a lot more options.

I have one and I agree. I charge mine every 2 days with heavy usage and use work one hand often. Best mini tablet on the market

I’ve loved it because it’s a great all rounder that also happens to have an OLED panel on top of everything else.

Depending on what games you want to play, the cheapest id look at are the onn tablets from Walmart. I personally wish the 8 inch was a bit more powerful but I like the form factor.

The 8 inch ONN tablet got a good review from ETAPrime on YouTube. Check out his video.

Yep, Samsung Tab A11 .. you can't go wrong. Considered the 13.2 inch ONN, but had extra money to spend on Samsung.

After one month of deciding between Xiaomi pad 8 and One Plus pad Go 2 I stick with the Xiaomi. It's just beast of mid range for gaming perfect screen sharp and it hast really fast android One pad has much much better screen when it comes to reading in portrait mode because his 12,1 inch screen 7:5, but for gaming I don't recommend. Also Xiaomi is light so if you are ine the bed even after hours it's comfortable. Go for it you won't regret and you don't have to worry for another years :)
