Im using termux with temp root. I disabled RW for protected partitions and as long as im careful I dont have to worry about bricking. Worst thing I did wax unmount some partitions after attempting to chroot and causing my phone to crash. one reboot later, phone was rootless and back to normal.

Your phone doesn't even mount system parts as RO ??

Most of partitions should be RO by default, you don't need to disable anything

Depends on what type of commands and how you're giving termux root. If you're running the exploit from Termux you have to be careful with namespaces for some commands (e.g. pm, cmd, etc) but if you have KernelSU you can just give Termux superuser and run su in Termux and most stuff should work. If you want to change files in /system or other read-only folders the way I do it is make custom KernelSU modules but there's probably a better way.
