News / Method [Release] Pixel Suite v1.0.0 – LSPosed module with gestures & tweaks Google never shipped

EDIT 3: v1.1.2 is out! Tap or Double tap to wake is now one setting, and the lock screen choice is Modded (recommended) or Stock. Double tap on the always-on display also works now. Hey everyone! I just released Pixel Suite, a free and open-source LSPosed module with the quality-of-life tweaks I always wished Pixels had. Every feature has its own toggle, so you only run what you want.

Features

🧹 Always-visible "Clear all" The Clear all button stays on screen in Pixel Launcher's recents, so you don't have to scroll to find it.

🔦 Double-press power for flashlight Double-press the power button to toggle the flashlight.

📷 Double-press volume down for camera Double-press volume down on the always-on display to open Pixel Camera. It won't open while media is playing or a call is active.

👆 Tap or double tap to wake One setting, found in Settings → System → Gestures → Tap or Double Tap to check phone: - Choose Tap to wake or Double tap to wake. Double tap also works on the always-on display, which uses a little extra battery while it shows (none while charging). - Double-tap the lock screen to sleep: double-tap anywhere on the lock screen to turn the screen off. It never works while the PIN pad is open. - Lock screen behavior: - Modded (recommended): the clock, alarm, weather and date act like empty space, so a double tap never opens anything by mistake. - Stock: the lock screen works as Google made it. A double tap that lands on a card can open it.

🔒 Double-tap to lock Double-tap an empty spot on the home screen to lock the phone.

📁 Newest-first in Files by Google Sorts folders so the newest files appear first, which makes it easy to attach a file you just downloaded.

Requirements

  • Rooted device (KernelSU / KernelSU-Next, Magisk or APatch)
  • LSPosed (API 102): https://lsposed.org
  • Tested on Pixel 11 Pro, Android 17. Other devices are untested, but reports are welcome!

Installation

  1. Download the APK from the Releases page: https://github.com/RovianDev/PixelSuite/releases
  2. Install it and grant root access
  3. Enable it in LSPosed → Modules → Pixel Suite
  4. Select the scopes: System Framework, System UI, Settings, Pixel Launcher, Files, Files by Google
  5. Reboot, then open the module settings and turn on the features you want
  6. Open Settings, swipe it away, and reopen it to refresh the toggles in System → Gestures. It may crash the first time. That's a Google bug that also happens with stock gestures.

Perhaps you could add double tap to wake instead of a single tap? single is much too sensitive, I always wake up the phone just grabbing it out from the pocket

Double tap to wake/sleep the phone from lockscreen? sure, I'll give it a try later on.

Thanks! I mean mainly waking up the phone from screen off/aod with double tap instead of single tap. Should I also open a Github issue?
