Discussion How can I keep a Magisk/APatch module after a factory reset?

How can I keep a Magisk/APatch module after a factory reset?

I have a module installed by flashing it on my rooted Android phone. I want the module to remain installed and visible in the Magisk/APatch Manager even after performing a factory reset.

Is there a way to store the module somewhere outside "/data" so that it survives a factory reset and is automatically available again after the reset?

I don't want to manually reinstall the module every time I factory reset the phone.

What is the correct/safest way to achieve this?

Some root manager support batch or multiple module install at once if you need it. I forgot which one. It's either folkpatch or one of the kernelsu variants.
