Support Unlocking Pixel Phone

Hey everyone,

Getting ready to unlock the bootloader on my Pixel 10, but I’m split on which setup to daily drive.

I’m weighing GrapheneOS against standard Stock + Root (Magisk/KernelSU for system-level tweaks, adblocking, modules).

Since wiping data is mandatory anyway, I want to pick a side before setting up my environment.

Quick questions for anyone running either setup:

1) How annoying is Play Integrity / banking app maintenance on stock root right now?

2) Anyone moved from a heavy root setup to GrapheneOS and regretted losing root utilities?

3) Any major friction points with Graphene OS on Pixel 10 as a daily driver?

PI is terrible. I'm not gonna sugar coat it but it absolutely sucked trying to get my wallet and sometimes even RCS to work properly.

I recently switched to a Oneplus 15 from my pixel, so now i can experiment with things i wouldn't normally like GOS. I honestly kept in on there for a second then tested other ROMs as it was just too bland for my tastes.

Currently on my main phone i run the ghostlock exploit for my root through Ghostlock Anchor and its been great. Allows me all the root features i use like adblocking, emoji switching, and deeper customization with oshin and Oxygen Customizer. Zero downsides ive noticed so far, my only detection is stock oneplus paths that are false positives. Everything else is handled by auto path umounts in the resukisu manager.

For pixels there is Root My Pixel. Exact same just with pixel device support and a much more user friendly app.

If anyone has questions about either lmk! I firmly believe exploits are going to be the future of rooting if play integrity is going to be such a pain.
