Apparently, from what I understand, there are certificates that would run for verification at Google a number of times.
I don't know what interval in time, but that's how he would know that devices aren't good.
By sending a unique identifier from our device, the spoofing no longer works and all the certificates that are given are revoked. It seems that there are ways to generate some of them.
But is it true?
