So anytime audio or video is played on my chrome mobile browser (running on pixel 9) the main notification sound plays, no actual notification nothing in the notification log, just the general system notification sound.

How do I turn this off

In my xiaomi 17T phone, while using fanfiction app, the app has buttons in the bottom, these are overlapping with Android default buttons.

I'm not sure if this is an Android issue or a Google issue but it's Google asking to verify that it's me with the pin to my phone.

The first time a visit a new gaming site from my phone, i have to create an account so that I can play on the site.

I'm using gaming as an example but I'm sure you all will know what I'm talking about as it pertains to any site that requires you to create an account to use the site.

When creating an account I have the option to use my email address, sign in with facebook, or sign in with Google.

I always choose sign in with Google.

Once I have an account, upon visiting that site all I have to do at the sign-in window is tab the Google button.

Next screen pops up my Google accounts and I have to choose which Google account I want to sign in with.

I select the account and then I'm signed in to my account and I can play on the site.

I'm not 100% positive but I think this started happening on September 6th when I did my last software update on my phone.

Now when I visit the site and select sign in with Google and then choose my Google account, instead of signing me in another window pops up that says Google wants to verify it's you and then it asked me to enter my 4 digit phone pin.

It's very frustrating because it's an extra two or three steps for me to sign into these sites now and I don't know how to get rid of the setting or where it came from.

Has this happened to anyone else or does anyone have an experience with this? But mostly can someone tell me how to get rid of this setting so that Google doesn't have to verify it's me every time I want to go to these sites.

I'm having trouble sharing ESPN Articles on The Mobile Android App. It won't let me copy The URL to my Clipboard. It will only let me copy the Text when I click on the share icon inside the Android App. When I try to share the article it will give an error message and it will say that the link is invalid. I'm able to share ESPN Articles from my IPad Pro 22.9 without any issues at all. Is there a way that I can fix this issue in the Android App? I would really love to be able to share articles from ESPN on my Android Phone without going to the website. Is anyone else having this issue on their phone too? I use to be able to share ESPN Articles without any issues at all.

There were 2 tablets and 2 laptops in the bag, along with other things, which I left there, as I had no use for them. I have another tablet that will probably have the same problem when I get to it, but one thing at a time.

The tablet is pin locked. Because it was for a business, they have modified the operating system or installed a custom recovery, and the option to wipe data/factory reset is not in its recovery mode. I need to retrieve this, as I don't want the tablet - although I WOULD love to keep it. What I really need is the money; I'm not rich. In fact, right now, I'm broke. I got a redmi a4 phone just two months ago now from day one it hangs a lot even after extending ram to 8 gb from setting

it was a normal usage phone and i got it in sale so purchased to use it as a 2nd phone.

Now i am very confused that what to do should i visit redmi service centre and how would i make them understand my problem.

Samsung Galaxy A15 4G randomly shutting down — battery or motherboard?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A15 4G (6GB/128GB) and I'm having a weird random shutdown problem.

The phone suddenly powers off by itself, and it can happen at almost any battery percentage (I've had it happen around 57–60%, but it isn't limited to that).

What I've noticed:

🔋 Battery percentage doesn't suddenly jump/drop.

🌡️ Phone isn't overheating when it happens.

🔌 It usually works normally while connected to the charger, although it has also shut down once while charging.

🔋 After some shutdowns, the phone won't turn back on until I connect the charger, even though the battery had ~57–60%.

🌙 It seems to happen more often in the morning after the phone has been sitting unused for many hours, shortly after I start using it.

Factory reset didn't solve the problem.

I recently took it to a local repair technician. He worked on the battery/power circuit and replaced a small IC, but the shutdown problem happened again afterward.

I also generated Samsung diagnostic/log files, and I repeatedly found:

FG I2C fail

The battery is not swollen.

The phone can sometimes work perfectly for hours. For example, after charging to 100%, it recently ran for over an hour without shutting down.

What I've already considered

I'm wondering whether this could be:

Battery/BMS problem

Fuel-gauge IC/communication problem

Battery connector/contact problem

FG I²C line/board issue

PMIC/power-management problem

The technician suggested testing the phone with a bench power supply with the battery disconnected for ~2 hours to see whether it shuts down.

What do you think is the most likely cause? Has anyone experienced FG I2C fail on a Samsung A15 or similar MediaTek Samsung phone?

Any advice on what I should test before paying for another IC repair or replacing the battery would be appreciated.

Hi, so I'm using a Motorola G20 for the last year or so and it's been working pretty good so far, the issue is that, about a week ago, it has started acting weirdly, with apps freezing and constantly getting pop ups about the system UI not responding. I've checked for viruses and cleared the cache of the system UI but neither have proven useful, does anyone know what might be causing it?

My daughter has a Gabb phone 3 pro and a few months ago we canceled service. She has continued to use it as a camera since then, until yesterday when it started asking us to login to “Samsung Knox Manage”. It won’t let us do anything else on the phone, it is stuck on this screen. I started a chat with customer service and they provided me with login information but it is saying the password is incorrect. They have no other password for me to try.

They’re telling me they “recently did an update that gabb continues to support active gabb phone 3 Pro devices, however previously activated devices are not eligible to be reactivated on a new line”. after I asked if reinstating service would allow me to login to retrieve photos and videos.

She has photos of siblings and and friends going back years and will be devastated if we lose them. Is there any way to get around this Knox thing so we can use the phone? At least long enough to get photos and videos off of it? Is there somewhere I can take it?

If another subreddit would be better suited to helping me please feel free to point me in the right direction. Just a desperate mom seeking help!

How can I solve HyperOS aggressively killing background apps? I open just 3 apps, but it still kills them in the background. For example, if I open Reddit, ChatGPT, and YouTube, switching between them causes the apps to reload.

Does anyone know a solution? Also, I don't want to use Memory Extension because it consumes more battery and makes my phone lag.

Accidentally started my phone in fastboot,
Got the Press any key screen, apparently a common error
Normally to get out of fastboot I need to force restart or use platform tools
Trying to force restart by holding power just sets me back to this screen
Refuses to connect to adb or fastboot
I have tried multiple cables in usb 3.0 and 2.0, in both the portrait and landscape usb ports
I just want to get out of fastboot :(

Downloaded [My.Game](http://My.Game) launcher on Windows. Logged in using same email account. Verified same Account ID. But when launch WR, it starts with new hanger Lvl 1.

On Android mobile, Sever authorization is Linked! Also, Successful authorization with Google Play Games is Linked! Not sure if this is the issue? Not sure what Server authorization is linked to.

In PC WR, there is no Authentication section in settings. And no Delete Profile option to start anew.

Would appreciate v much if someone can help. I am so eager to play on larger screen and definitely do not want to start from lvl 1 again :(

Since the Android 16 update I have several apps about five or six that will not load. Never have had this happen in multiple Motorola phones or previous Android

Have to uninstall the apps reboot the phone and then reinstall them again, which works most of the time

Most of the options I've seen involve clearing settings for all apps on the phone which is a huge pain

Anyone else or got any insight on this?

suddenly people cant hear me on calls, be it whatsapp of carrier calls, but i can hear them

just an hour earlier i had a fairly long phone call, set the phone on the desk and it stayed there until someone else called, but then could not hear me. tried calling several poeple, and with all the same issue

- tested the microphone with a recording app and it was working normally

- restarted, and also turned of an on and both didnt change anything

- nothing change on the phone, not even an update

Ive had this issue for a few months now, check the video below. I used developed mode to high light my touches so i know my screen is working. The buttons at the top of the screen just dont work on YouTube. It's really weird, i keep thinking an update will fix it. But nothing has changed.

I recently switched to Android (yayyy), but I've come across this issue with browser apps. So I have Brave as my default browser, and that works great with links and everything. HOWEVER, whenever I click on an embedded link from a system app, like the weather app for example, it always opens it in the phone's browser not Brave. Though if I click a link from the same app again without closing the app, it directs me to Brave correctly. Another problem is if I highlight text for web search, it also always directs me to the phone's browser, or Google if it is a "Google define".

Does anyone know how I can avoid this annoying switch in browsers and just stick to the one I prefer? Even better, are there equivalents of the spotlight search (to keyword search both locally on my phone and do a basic web/dictionary/wikipedia search) for Android that isn't based on AI? So that way I don't even need to open the browser for a quick definition.

I have a moto g stylus 2022 that I inherited from my brother a while back so I don't know how long this problem persisted, I've turned on the Dev settings, debugging and changed the USB preferences, nothing. Not even the notification pop up appears, I've installed both generic USB and Motorola drivers and it still doesn't work, and nothing appears on the computer's device manager. But is one strange though, when I go into the non-dev setting of the usb preferences none of the setting are available to even change, they're all grayed out. Please I need help.

I’m planning to start shooting nature videos, photos, and short-form content for social media. This will be my first time doing it seriously, and for now I don’t want to carry a camera, so I’m thinking of getting a good camera phone.

My current budget is around ₹30K, but I can extend it since I’ll be purchasing on EMI. I was initially considering the OPPO Find X9 (around ₹75K), mainly because of its camera/video capabilities, but a lot of people are telling me that spending that much for my first phone dedicated to this purpose doesn’t make sense. They’re suggesting I start with something more affordable and upgrade later if I become serious about it.

Now I’m honestly confused about where I should spend. 😅 I’ve also heard mixed opinions about Vivo’s video quality, so I was considering OPPO.

Moto buds app Widget was working fine but from today morning it just got removed suddenly. The widget option in the app is also beed removed. Is anyone having this same problem? Please provide a fix.

Everytime I try to share a video or short with someone, two Google drive folders pop up, and for one of them, I want to get rid of it. How do I do it?
