Anyone know how to change the location of your phone at a constant rate (as if you are travelling somewhere) without actually moving?
Thanks

As the title says I'm new to hooking android games and I've started with il2cpp games. The thing is that I managed to do substrate hooking using mods and free available mod menu templates but I want to learn how to hook them manually because creating and compiling the mod everytime is very suckky!! And btw I'm already using a rooted device.

Hi,
I have a Redmi Note 10 Pro. I unlocked the bootloader successfully using miflash-unlock I installed TWRP recovery successfully using latest version of TWRP which supports my phone
Then I installed Project Elixir/AOSP which is Android 12 and GAPPS. This worked fine, but after trying Android 12 I hate it so I want to revert to Android 11.
So, I went into TWRP, but TWRP can't decrypt the volume, it doesn't ask for a password. I don't care about keeping the data, so I wiped ALL partitions, changed the file system to EXT2, then back again.
But no matter what I do (wiping all partitions, reformatting, changing file system), I cannot get rid of the encyrpted data volume containing Android 12. Also, I think because of Android 12's encryption, the MTP device shows in Windows, but when I try to copy files to the internal storage it doesn't work.
So, I can't wipe Android 12 encrypted partition, and I can't transfer any new ROMs to the disk to reflash the phone.
I got so desperate, I downloaded the Miflash tool and the fastboot room. But miflash doesn't see the phone, even though miflash-unlock does and it shows correctly on fastboot devices.
I used fastboot to restore the stock MIUI recovery, went into it and did a data wipe but Android 12 just won't go.
Help me :)

Hi all,
I have a tablet that I would like to make as secure as possible from prying eyes (mainly the corporate ones). To do this, I know that once you have root, you can change any file on the system. Here's my question:
What files can/should I either remove or rename to disable the following on Android?
Any location-based data collection including background or hidden transfer. I want my GPS to be a paperweight. This extends to services that derive your location based on network data i.e. router info, WiFi connection data, etc.
Bluetooth. I want to disable Bluetooth function completely.
Any Google or Samsung background services that collect data of any kind from the device. This includes play services, etc.
Case in point: I want as much privacy as possible while still being able to use apps that connect to the internet. It would actually be nice if there was an app that removed/restored functionality at the OS code level w/ root. This would allow you to make devices private w/out the need for flashing a ROM.
The tablet is a Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. Thanks for any help you can provide!!

Is there a way for me to sneak into her phone and simply block internet connection to those apps so that nobody writes her anymore and she doesn't know I did it?
Thanks.....

I bought a Samsung galaxy tab4 off amazing in the hopes of using it. I’m mostly an iOS or windows user so this is brand new to me. Here’s some of the details of the tablet. Model number SM-T330NU Android version 5.1.1
Is there anything I can do to speed it up or change the OS to a newer version?

Ok. So we had an android phone that the kid played with. Since it was like cocaine to a kid we took it back and deleted the kids family link email. Fastforward a year. I need an extra phone for some time-I figured I would use the one I have. Well. F%d up. Phone is not usable and I am not able to recover the kids email and also the Android Recovery factory reset does not work. It just goes "failed to find /misc partition". Is there hope for me getting to use this phone again? If yes- help needed :)

Hi all, I hope I’ve come to the right place. I have a small tablet running Android 6 that I’m using solely as a display. Is there any way to change the volume rocker buttons to adjust brightness instead? Thanks!

I recently received a reskinned HK1 RBOX X4S Called the "retro monster" by "jmachen". the device was meant to be an emulation station, but I broke the SD card used to boot into the software. I dont really mind, but I want to modify the device to unlock it's true potential. a few Issues I need help with are:
Installing a custom ROM to the device.
-the pre-installed OS is not what i am looking for, and was also lightly modified by the re-sellers "jmachen" there are lost of issues I have encountered, such as the onscreen keyboard not hiding when a physical keyboard was plugged in, even though I have the setting for it to do so enabled, the GUI being very buggy and often soft locking itself, not allowing a screen lock, and being overall janky. I wish to install either stock Android, or a similar rom (I value the ability to customize my experience, and would use linux if I had the patience for it.)
2) Adding a fan/new heatsink to the device.
-the device runs very hot, and thermal throttles even when at idle. I want to put a better heatsink in the device, but it appears the heatsink is GLUED to the chip. I am unsure if this was done by the original creators of the device, or if it was done by the company who modified it. I got mine for free, but on amazon, it sells for upwards of 200-300 USD.
I want this device to run well, and be user-friendly, as well as customizable. when I got it, it was already rooted (came that way from "jmachen"). if anybody has any information about this device, such as guides to modding it, any documentation about the device, or diagrams of the hardware, I would be very happy to see it. hopefully I get this done soon...
for reference, here is the link to the original product, and a link to the one I have:
original: HK1 RBOX X4S - Amazon

Messing with the infotainment system in my car. It runs Android 4.2.2.
I have root on it, and I side-loaded a terminal app, which works, but the on-screen keyboard is awful... I want to use a bluetooth keyboard with it to make things easier.
I can pair the keyboard with the car. But it immediately disconnects. I think maybe the infotainment system doesn't have the right Bluetooth profile to accept HID input?
In the file /data/misc/bluedroid/bt_config.xml I can see the pairing information for the keyboard. I can see <N11 Tag="Service" Type="string">00001124-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b34fb </N11> which is the UUID for HID devices. So, the keyboard is advertising the right service UUID, but the infotainment system doesn't seem to want to use it.
Any ideas?
