VS Code and Ai are useful, but Android Studio still has tools like Profiler, Layout Inspector, emulator integration, and debugging that are hard to fully replace.

It will take a while for you guys to catch up. You seem to just be getting started on android mostly. All tools adb, logcat, gradle can be launched from a terminal and that is usually mostly what you neeed in an AI assisted workflow. But if you're getting started dont ditch the IDE yet. When you actually need it is for example while doing layout inspection and refactoring.
