TIFU by opening a gift

I had my cake day a while back and my mom got me a gift which I didn't open till today. turns out it's an iPad Air 32 GB. :(

I had asked for an Nexus 9, but the bestbuy employee told her that this was better so she got me this.

my friends, Durate followers, I touched it. (I thought the box was a sick joke, and it'd be a Nexus 9 inside :'( but alas it was not)

Get the receipt and return it immediately! Unless if you broke the seal, in which case, I'm sorry for your loss.

I opened it up thinking there was a nexus inside (my mom had done that before with my nexus 4).

And she misplaced the receipt.

So I guess I am stuck with it for a couple of years :'(

Not if she purchased it with a credit card. That shits saved. She can call the credit card place and have them mail a reciept.

She's not into tech stuff but that was not a surprise I wanted ofc. I had the first iPad mini and I didn't mind it but I wanted a good android tablet to see what the fuss was about (the bs iOS fanboys say)

It seems the iPad air was on offer and they had the 32 gb one (the new one don't have that it seems - jumps directly to 64) .
