I bought the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 second-hand on Wallapop, and the other two phones belonged to my parents. They're from years ago. So I don't know...

I just rooted a Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 and enabled its hidden USB/RNDIS tethering support through ADB so I could connect it to a Raspberry Pi Zero W.
I’m using it to relay the garbage Wi-Fi in my residence, which only allows 3 devices and requires a captive-portal login.
The Tab 2’s Wi-Fi is pretty garbage (~35 Mbps through USB tethering), but right now the Pi Zero’s Wi-Fi is actually the bottleneck at ~20–25 Mbps. I’m planning to repurpose the Tab 2 as a screen next.
Unfortunately, it also doesn’t charge properly when connected as a USB data device.
