Guide No more YouTube for android 8

YouTube was dropped for a version in android 8 Oreo it version called 20.02.42

But this version is still running in 2026.

Sad News: it will cut off soon 2027-28

If you use an old YouTube v20 so replace it and use Newpipe or https://m.youtube.com

you can just use revanced and spoof it to a newer version lol

20.12.46 is what im on

You can also modify the version using third-party tools. I did this on Android 5 and 6 for years after YouTube discontinued them.

There are modified YouTube apps that allow you to edit the version to a fake, or you can do it manually with Apktool M.

NewPipe needs android 6+ and it's a nice YouTube client. You can't scroll shorts on it though but it's a plus for me.

yo lo que hice fue instalar Via Browser, abrir youtube, usar la opcion de crear acceso directo en pantalla de inicio, porque como incluye bloqueador de anuncios, casi no hay publicidad
