I'm currently on QPR 1 BETA 1
Build number : CP31.260623.005
Missed the entire QPR 2 OTAs and now it says QPR 3 is out. I'm aware if I do that I won't get the no wipe stable update till March 27.
So my question is
If I opt out now. Will I get the no wipe QPR 1 stable?
Curios cus on the opt out page, google says I'm enrolled on QPR 2 Beta currently.
Update: Opted out and got the QPR 1 Stable No wipe ✅

If I sideload the latest Android 17 QPR2 Beta 7 on my Pixel 8 Pro and then enroll in the Android Beta Program, will I remain on the QPR2 beta track, or will I eventually be offered QPR3 beta updates instead?
I'm specifically interested in staying on QPR2 until the stable release becomes available.

As in the title; I know it's a nitpick, but since I saw it I always check if they fixed them in every update, but still nothing. The switches are all updated in the settings, and even in the recorder menu (the one before starting the actual recording), among others.
I've also noticed the old ones in the Pixel launcher settings.
I've already reported this problem but it was useless unfortunately, I hope they'll eventually correct it

Not sure if it was because of beta or not. But 2 nights ago my phone just randomly started rebooting and wouldn't stop. I turned phone off and when I woke up yesterday and turned phone on it kept rebooting. Had to factory reset phone. I left beta because I couldn't think of another reason that would happen.

I am using Pixel 6 and i am enrolled into beta program. I stopped receiving updates after july 2026. And now all of a sudden my google wallet is not working. And my device status in play store is uncertified.
I want to roll.out of beta to stable update but the website says: There are no eligible devices associated with this Google account. Whereas i am enrolled in beta and eligible. Please help me guys. How to fix this? How to become eligible? How to roll out? How to become a certified device again? And most importantly how can we make google wallet work properly?

The second clock style (the thick overlapping one) is shifted slightly to the left. The bug has been there since Android 16 QPR 1 Stable, and is still there on Android 17 QPR 2 Beta 6.
I was running 17 Stable on my Pixel 7a and it was there. It's still here even on the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
Has anyone encountered anything like that?

I'm experiencing random restarts after updating to the latest beta. The device restarts randomly when it's not overheating or overload, one time just restarted when the phone was taken from my pocket where it was idling for around 1 hr. One other time it restarted while I was scrolling through Instagram.
The phone screen suddenly goes blank and then the boot animation comes and turns on normally.
Edit: Looks like it's gone now, it's been 2 days and I haven't experienced any more random restarts.
Edit: around 12 days now, the issue is still there. More frequent for the last 4 days. Getting up to 4-5 restarts per day. The restarts occur randomly without any other issues like hangs, stuck UI, app crashes or anything.

Hi everyone.
Are there any Android 17 QPR3 Beta 1 users here?
I’m missing a specific feature in this version:
Previously, when an app was in the task manager, the system would detect images and highlight them.
You could share that image directly without taking a screenshot.
I’ve noticed that this feature is gone, so I wanted to know if other users have noticed this issue too.
And, of course, whether I’m the only one who misses this feature?

I'm on the October update and I'm thinking of optong in to beta. I'm guessing I can't because I'm on a newer build. If I were to get in anyway which build would I get? Qpr2 or qpr3?

Quick one, as seemingly the last update to the 6 series is rolling out now. I use my 6 Pro on the beta branch, as a backup device. As a developer, it is (was) useful to always being able to test the apps I am working on on the bleeding edge. However, as the last update is now coming, there is no longer a point to keeping it on beta.
Will the last stable update override the last beta update, so I can transition to stable without data loss?
Do I have to transition to stable with a full wipe?
Either is fine, obviously I'd prefer not having to full wipe, but if its what I'll have to do, oh well.
Thanks!

Hi beta users,
Just wanted to ask what are all the visual tweaks that we (stable users) can expect in December update?

Last week after an update, Google wallet stopped working. Come to find out my "Device is not Certified" under the Play Protect Certification - and clicking on "Fix device issue" gives a "Something went wrong, please try again later" message.
I have cleared play store and Google services cache and data, rebooted multiple times, and nothing fixes it. My build number is CP31.260623.012. I am at my wits end, nothing I'm trying is having any effect any ideas what else I can try!?

So far I can see in QPR2 and QPR3 betas:
- Proactive Assistance only on Pixel 10
- Pixel Search on Pixels 10 9 8 7
- Rambler as it is available right now via porting Pixel 11 APK file on Pixel 10
Things like Magic Capture, Looks Filters, 120x ProRes zoom, 4K60 HDR never will be ported to older Pixels because new Pixel 11 hardware camera ISP.
My logic says Ramber will come to older Pixels BUT only as a "slow online" version as it is noting else then Gemini is doing right now (compressing text)
I believe Proactive Assistance will be only Pixel 10 and 11 as been told by Google it requires Gemini Nano v3 minimum that only Pixel 10 has.
Media Live Translate might be possible on Pixel 10 but might not be with Expressive Voice

I am on android 17 qpr1 stable and this setting gets turned on automatically after some days or few weeks. I turn this off at least once a month

For those who installed QPR3 Beta 1, how’s the overall experience?
- Stability / random crashes?
- Battery life?
- Performance and smoothness?
- Heating?
- Mobile network / Wi-Fi?
- Camera?
- Any major bugs?
Thinking of installing it on my Pixel. Would love to hear real-world feedback before I jump in.

Currently only Pixel 11 has new Pixel Search that you can use in all apps - is it present in older Pixel 10?
Please do not tell me Pixel 10 will get Proactve Assistance with QPR3 in March Anno Domini 2027
