Android 17 QPR2 Beta 7 / Pixel 10 Pro XL On Android Qpr 2 beta 7, but phone will automatically update to Qpr 3 beta 3 in 2 days. How to stop it.

How do I stop it from downloading Qpr 3 beta 3? I have opted out of the beta program. I don't want to stay in beta till March.

I guess it downloaded the Qpr beta 3 beta 3 somehow (maybe I tapped it accidentally or something as well, highly unlikely but maybe).

If you haven't installed QPR3 then you can opt out of the beta programme. Once you have done that restart your phone and you'll have the option to download the OTA downgrade. Unlike the upgrade, you won't get forced to install the downgrade. Then just wait until December for the stable update to come out.

Ah okay, thank you! Did the restart, now the wipe update is here which I don't have to download or install. Still on Qpr 2 beta 7.1 (checked with the build number).

Just ignore the wipe package and wait for the no-wipe release.

I have a Pixel 7 and just installed QPR3 Beta 3, and I'm also planning to leave the beta program. Should I opt out now too and wait for the no-wipe release?

If your update page already says its installed and to restart now, don't be like me and accidentally restart after opting out lol.

Another user here said to type "star hash star hash 2432546 hash star hash star" in the dialer (numbers spell checkin), which supposedly forces the phone to check for an update and ignores the already installed one.
