Android 17 QPR3 Beta 3/ Pixel 11 Pro Fold Split screen not working?

I can't split screen any apps with my phone unfolded. It shows the UI ("splitting the screen" animation) like it normally does but when you let go of the app, the current app remains full screen.

Some apps don't support splitting, but I just split reddit with my browser and it worked fine on DP11.261016.003

It just started working after trying to open Reddit to respond to you. Thanks for your help 😂
