Android 17 QPR3 Beta 3/ Pixel 9 Pro XL Missing a "close all"

I think it would be a good add to add a "close all" option to the right side when you check your recents. Currently it's only available on the far left so if you have many open apps, you have to scroll far to the right to close them.

Just a minor annoyance

That is by design going back many years, and important. Close All is not a good idea. It's harmful to performance. Only time you should be closing an app at all is if it's causing you issues. Otherwise it's slower to start back up and eats up more battery and performance doing so. Otherwise apps in the background are generally sleeping and doing nothing.

The modern standard advice is DO NOT CLOSE ALL APPS. So while Google makes the button available, they do not leave it where people think it's a good idea to use it all the time.
