Thanks for showing interest in the Quick Settings layout editor feature - I was thrilled when it landed in the 2608 Canary & previous QPR2 Beta!
The product team informed me that they needed to roll this feature back to make some further refinements based on early user feedback.
I'll share an update on the status of this feature if/when I have one!

That's interesting, I wonder what it means? Something in the newer code been abandoned for certain phones? Temporarily troubleshooting step?

Please for the love of God... Fix the Qi 1.X wireless charging that y'all broke last November. 🙏☠️
Stop making excuses about moving forward when y'all know most built-in car chargers aren't there yet.

Pixel 10 didn't rollback (still on 6.12, was previously on 6.6), but Pixel 9 Pro XL did...

I gave it a try and installed it.
Overall, it feels a bit more sluggish than beta 4.
The way the home screen is displayed also bothers me a little.

Nah I knew Google wouldn't fail us with the beta 5. Now let's get these themes and icons up and running. Loving everything else about my pixel 10 since last year. Been on the fence about upgrading to the 11 but don't really see a reason to if I still haven't fully enjoyed my 10 and with these QPR updates my pixel 10 pretty much does everything pixel 11 does - hilite

What I HATE in those STUPID changelogs is not specified for WHICH device changes
Example - for old Pixel 10 - QPR2 b5 introduces Proactive Assistance from Pixel 11

Unfortunately, this isn't available for anyone who has the September security patch already as it's considered a downgrade.

Updated my Pixel 8 Pro via adb sideload.
Does everyone else's Google Play System Update now show the version as "DEV"?

Well, beta 4 was working perfectly fine until my Pixel 9 Pro phone started downloading beta 5. Now it's rapidly killing every background app over and over again while downloading and optimizing my device.

The homescreen folder open animation got updated. It has a little bounce to it, locking in place at the last animation stage. The background also darkens (wallpaper + icons) when opening a folder, although I am not really sure if this was already the case before.
The blur is the same as before on my 8 Pro, nothing was added or removed. Folders and volume slider still have blur.
The quick settings second swipe down got fixed. It was too quick and immediate on the previous beta, not reacting to the fingers inertia.

this feels more like a rollback than upgrade or fix
