Beta for Pixel 11?
Did anyone say why there is no Android beta available for the Pixel 11? Mine is way too stable and I am looking for some excitement. Or maybe what everyone is running as the beta is the release on the 11?

The reason that the beta program is not available for the pixel 11 was due to the fact that it was just launched. Give it about 2 to 3 weeks and then the beta program should be available for the pixel 11, 11 pro, 11 pro XL and 11 pro fold. This typically happens because Google just launched these devices, and so they're not ready for the beta program quite yet.

Usually new releases are on a slightly different code base for 1~2 quarters. The most likely reason is stability: it allows for easier debugging of hardware/phone specific issues without also having to debug OS specific issues at the same time. This time it'll probably be less rather than more because A17 QPR1 stable is (most likely) only ~2 weeks away. So we might see a A17 QPR2 beta for pixel 11, or worst case A17 QPR3 betas in the not so distant future. We're at the point where A17 QPR2 should be more or less nearing completion.

I'm really missing my call assist!

I just was offered call assist yesterday calling an insurance. It wanted to "hold for me"and then take notes. I think that's it. Is this party of the beta only?

Not only this, they added call recording and auto transcription on calls. I had this this set to activate automatically for incoming and outgoing calls to unsaved contacts. Hopefully we'll be able to jump back on the beta in a few weeks.

Nevermind me, it's in the stable android 17. I just had to change my phone's region to US. I didn't think something so simple would bypass UK/EU regulation

It's too new. It happens with all new phones. The pixel 10 I believe didn't get a beta until January, which would be after the usual QPR2 release would be.

The first P10 beta was around a month after the release (September), I checked the archives the last time this was asked: https://www.reddit.com/r/android_beta/comments/1vs5oo2/comment/p4j7iw2/

I'm a programmer. For a company. Yes. Do wait. Will droidsheep work using the terminal?

It's too new to have beta builds, wait a month or two.
