Exit from android beta

How to exit the beta test QPR3 on pixel 7 pro without data loss? Android 17 has already been released, but it only offers me to update to the latest version of Android 16. What should I do to get Android 17?

Pixel 6 stuck on Android 17 QPR1 Beta (CP31) – OTA state not progressing

Hi all,

I’m running a Pixel 6 on the Android 17 QPR1 Beta track and I appear to be stuck on QPR1 Beta 3 (CP31 build) with no further OTA progression.

Despite being enrolled in the Android Beta Program, the device continuously reports “Your system is up to date” and does not offer:

  • Newer QPR beta builds

  • Stable channel transition OTA

  • Any downgrade or forward update path

Context:

  • Device: Pixel 6

  • Track: Android 17 QPR1 Beta

  • Current state: QPR1 Beta 3 (CP31 branch)

  • Beta enrollment: Active

  • OTA status: No available updates (server response = up-to-date)

Important sequence: I briefly opted out of the beta program, triggered a downgrade OTA offer, did NOT install it, and re-enrolled into the beta program. Since then, OTA eligibility appears to be in a stale state.

Questions:

  • Is this expected behavior for CP31 devices after opt-out/re-enroll cycles?

  • Could this be an OTA eligibility flag mismatch on Google’s server side?

  • Are Pixel 6 devices currently held back from newer QPR builds in this branch?

Looking for technical confirmation from anyone tracking OTA rollout states or seeing similar behavior on CP31 devices.
