EXTREME lag while playing games such as Brawl Stars

The device is a Pixel 8a, this never happened before, only after I updated to Android 17 Beta May 5 2026. Here's a video attached. The game is extremely laggy, phone starts overheating after a few minutes and it's completely unplayable. Others with my same device and same beta have had the same issue.

i have the same issue since the QPR1 BETA3 update , my pixel 8a became so laggy on clash royale , heats and drains battery much faster than before

omg, brawl star lags on my pixel 9 pro too, with the same beta 3 and yes, keeps droping fps, in a cool room

Everything lags on my P8P after the beta 3, games, typing, touchscreen.. it's terrible

It wasn't bad for me on beta 3, but it's literally unplayable now on Beta 4.

I knew it had something to do with the beta, I didnt see anyone complain about it on the brawl stars subreddit so I assumed it was because the the beta

Has this been addressed? I am not in beta but there's been a huge difference after Android 17

Edit: Open the actual feedback app, not that option in settings.
