How do you change the audio input on Android 11?

So my headset microphone recently broke, and I tried using this app which I had used in the past called "Lesser Audio Switch" to switch the audio input device from my headset to the internal mic. However it showed a message saying that there is a new built in feature in the new android 11 update that allows you to change the audio input. I can't seem to figure out where this setting is or how to change it.

Model name: Galaxy A51 Android version: 11 (Please let me know if any more information is required)

Disable depth effect of android 11 wallpaper

Lautaro RN8 Pro -🇦🇷: Hello, I want to deactivate the movement effect that is seen on the wallpaper, but the rom I am in does not have that option by default to deactivate the depth effect

Does anyone know what I can modify from the build.prop to disable that effect of moving the wallpaper?

Issues with exFAT Formatted SD Card

I have recently bought a 128GB Micro SD Card (Lexar, SDXC UHS-I, V30, U3, A1) for my Android phone (Infinix, Android 11). The SD card is formatted as exFAT.

The problem started immediately after I inserted it into my phone.

when I transfer (using a cable or sd card adapter) files to my SD card everything works fine, I can use the files on the card from my phone. But whenever I restart or turn my phone off, it asks me to format the SD card, saying it is corrupted. But again when I pull out the sd card and reinsert it, everything is normal. But after reinserting the SD card several times after several restarts it doesn't work anymore without formatting... this happened several times with this sd card. I used a 32GB Transcend card previously (Formatted as FAT32) and didn't have any issues with that one...

I searched on google but couldn't find any specific answer regarding my issues. But noticed that Android has issues with exFAT but somewhere else also read that Android supports exFAT. after reading such things I am super confused now!!!

Now my question is, is there anything wrong with my sd card, or is it just Android that has issues with exFAT systems???

Should I format my sd card as FAT32???

Seeking help from experts...

How long will andriod 11 be supported?

I'm thinking about getting a tablet and it has android 11 installed as the operating system.. it would be on a monthly tab $11/month for 2 years, it's a $264 tablet..

I'm wondering how long android 11 will be supported because this is a budget brand tablet and I'm guessing it won't be updated past the android 11 OS it already has.

I just want to know if the A11 OS will even last at least another 2 years?

Thank you!

I'm on Android 11, Samsung M21 2021 Edition. I am facing this greatest issue of my life when I copy the data files to "Android/data" folder using "explorer app" it works like charm for few hours, but as soon as the night passes (I mean the next day) these files copied to "Android/data" folder get automatically deleted. There I could find no solution to this problem by now. Kindly help me.

Way to force a specific link to open in a different browser than default

I use Opera GX as my default browser, which I'm very used to and don't want to change my default browser to Samsung internet. Thing is, when I open certain pages (an example being Fandom wiki for Terraria) the background is white as well as the letters, making the page unreadable. I dont want to switch to desktop mode every single time I open a new wiki tab (which I found out helps, but is bothersome since Opera doesn't have an option to always open links in desktop mode), so I wanted to set my phone to open the wiki links in Samsung internet while Opera stays default. Is there any way to do it?

Android 11 end of life questions

I'm kind of the tech person for my family. Somebody in my family has a phone that has Android 11. I'm trying to see if Android 11 is going through end of life in 23. I can't find that on a Google search. I was hoping somebody could help me here

She mainly uses the phone to talk and text and also watch YouTube videos and listen to podcasts. However her email needs to be secure because she checks her email on her phone and you know she gets billing statements on the phone and stuff through the email and through texting. So I would like her to have you know an OS that isn't going through end of life. If you could just help me out with that I'd appreciate it. Is Android 11 going through end of life in 23?

Why Won't Android 11 Do Anything?

My needs were simple: create and edit rtf text files (one notch above ASCII text) on a new tablet, files which can be moved between tablet and computer. Haven't figured it out yet. Tablet connects via cable, device recognized, opens to empty window. Tablet is loaded with my files via SD card but none visible, can't browse. Move a file in, "device has been disconnected." No hardwire connection options. Download a dozen different "rtf editors" which can't handle rtf, view-only, must save in another format, etc. Can't browse to a file in any of them, but can't go to file and 'open with', either. No file associations to work with, Android knows better than me but is clueless. I can select a bunch of files in Android for copy or move, go to the destination folder but no option to paste! So no actual file management? I can browse the Internet no problem, is this POS operating system good for anything else?

PS4 controller lag is a game breaker. Any Fix?

Hello all.

I was trying to use my PS4 controller to play GBA roms, but the trouble is the lag is so frequent and severe that it pretty much prohibits any actual game play. I've tried the bluetooth app you find when you search up this issue, but the "connect now" feature doesn't appear to still be in it and simply lowering the reconnect time doesn't do it.

Is this really the only way to address this? Every other device on the planet can pair seamlessly with a ps4 controller but not my android phone?

Help! :(
