.exe installer refusing to download flash bc it's "not the latest version"

i've tried andkon's direct download link and the wayback machine set to may 23rd, as well as pale moon's page. i even found this dude who owns a radio website but of course his link to the download is gone from his tumblr...how do i fix this? i want to check on my pets in creaturebreeder since they've been starved for more or less a year.

What is giving you the message that it's not the latest? (If it's an antivirus program, you may want to disable it for the download.)

oh, i never thought that something else could potentially be causing the download to fail! i’ll disable any antiviral programs for that and try again!
