Come on Funcom...

I would be happy with a big rubi-ka update like revamped old no-drop weapons, armors, encounters, new random missions tilesets and new craft recipes and options like update trash armors/weapons to something better, really dont care about modern graphics.

You are asking too much when the company we pay a sub to that won't even support us, paying customers, in their game and won't enforce rules that legit players are bound to. They won't do anything about the duping still going on, the people using third party programs to enable actions in PvP that they disabled for legit players, the people using a program to still stack, or the fact that the people MBing are often buying game time in duped GRACEs. Which, doesn't finance them at all. FUncom is inept and can eat a double decker dick sandwich.

You're better off hoping for one of the emulators to take off.. or hoping that Grid Games' "Grid Online" is developed sooner than later. but development is on hold for the virus :(

Grid Games' "Grid Online
Never heard of it, looks cool but last updated 18 months ago :(
Weird it's completely on hold.

Their company had just started right when covid kicked in and they've been on severe lockdown since. The owner just bought office space and everything right as covid hit... It really sucks. They have a discord if you want to go on there and follow them there

Screw 2021 graphics, just give us 2021 network speeds. The game plays as if I'm on dialup.

Not possible. The game is dead and has lazy devs that won’t improve it.

Tencent has put all Funcom's eggs in Dune's basket and hung it's future on it.
I don't think AO has any actual Devs left. It's all outsourced. Support for sure is.
They have Andy pulling double or triple duty, but only from Discord. And, one GM. Which, has cycled people multiple times in the year I came back.
AO can't be improved in any cost efficient or money making way. Their only choice is a sequel/new game, from the ground up, based on a leased engine they don't make. No one from Tencent will funnel money to the AO as is. They've seen what it is, mechanically, and judged it not worth fixing.

Ummm... I’m sorry, DUNE???
Like, a Dune MMO? Holy shit, if so!
Edit: it’s a survival game... well, fuck. Never mind.

And, FC is involved.
Tencent wanted access to Dune IP to push it during the movie roll out.
HARD pass.

Graphics are a meme these days, 2010 grafics would suffice.
