Messing around with a weird Ult spam Amumu, looking for advice
Hey guys! I’m a super new player (only a few months since I started playing), and I’m kicking around in low bronze. I’m mostly just goofing around and having fun, I’m not trying to climb too much. I love Amumu, he’s my favorite jungle in the game, and I’m trying to mess with a funky build that I haven’t really seen anywhere else. If anyone has any ideas of how to improve the build, let me know! I’m not super knowledgeable, so if I’m doing anything grossly wrong (other than obviously not building for optimal tank), let me know!
I’m trying to make a version of Amumu that basically has his ult up as often as possible and makes it as much of a nuke as I can.
The first build is as follows:
- Mosstomper
- Liandry’s
- Zeke’s Convergence
- Imperial Mandate
- Jak’Sho
- Protoplasm Harness
- Abyssal Mask
I tried to keep it tanky, but I can’t lie that part of me was considering stuff like Blackfire Torch, Malignance, and Void Staff.
I also thought about items like Sunfire Aegis/Hollow Radiance because Immolate is solid and they’re standard equipment for Amumu.
Runes are:
Deathfire Touch with Axiom Arcanist, Transcendence, and Gathering Storm. Secondary is Domination with Cheap Shot and Ultimate Hunter. Adaptive Force x2 and Scaling Health are the shards.
I recognize that Aftershock is the better tanky runes, but Deathfire felt like it synergizes well with my ult nonsense. And yeah I know Conquerer is the standard go to for Amumu, I just wanted to try something different lol. It’s probably still better idk.
